There is a lot of power in this small saw. Cut through plywood like butter. Very easy to handle, no kick-back.

I bought this saw about a year ago (it’s actually my first saw), and it’s been pretty powerful. Back when I got it, I saw some reviews saying that bigger batteries were necessary to get the most out of it. At first, I was using a 5Ah battery, and it worked fine for plywood, studs, and general wood cutting. Recently, though, I decided to push it a bit further and tried cutting granite(yes, an actual granite countertop). That’s when I realized the 5Ah battery wasn’t enough. You could feel the resistance, and the saw just didn’t have the power to go through it smoothly. So, I got an 8Ah battery, and wow, what a difference! With a bigger battery, the cuts were flawless, fast, powerful, and effortless, obviously using the proper blade. I was already happy with the saw for regular use, but this recent challenge made me want to finally write a review. If you’re planning to use it for heavier materials, definitely go for the bigger battery and right blade. Overall, really impressed and glad I bought it!

This has become my go to saw for most of my work. Easy to handle and has plenty of power. Its just able to cut two by material and is very easy to manage on plywood cuts on walls for example since its so light. I agree its looks a little weird at first but I have grown to use my "axe"

This little saw is built solid. All moving parts are metal, and the aluminum casing contributes to its light weight. The brushless motor is strong and efficient. Safety levers on both sides keep you safe from accidental operation, for both left and right-handed users. It has an exhaust tube on one side that will emit most of the saw dust, and you can connect this to a small hose or bag to capture it (not included). The ergonomic design makes it very easy to handle overall. This saw can handle anything a 4 1/2 in. diameter blade was ever meant to take on. It also comes with a metal guide marked with inch units, which is useful for cutting straight lines. My only complaints: 1- This saw is significantly pricier than most. There are many cordless mini-saws out there that will do a great job for less cost. 2 - I wish DeWalt had included the laser guide feature installed in some similar or lesser models, to help cut a straight line. Although that's a just a personal preference, it's easy enough to add, and you should not feel like you got less when you pay more. Nonetheless, it was a choice I do not regret. For its power, durability and design, it still gets a 5 out of 5.

I love this saw . It's not that heavy, because of size its very versatile and quite hardly any noise to it with alot of power and torque for a battery operated saw. Feels very durable. Worst part about it.... is the Allen wrench they give you to change blade. It doesnt stay put, you will lose it because it keeps falling off and barely snaps into place. Easy to install blade and saw dust is thrown though moveable chute out of way really like that myself. This is kind of pricey though, so $$ wise not a great value, BUT the real VALUE is its easy to handle and work with part even in awkward positions. I have a 9 amp/hr battery hooked to it usually and in a whole day of use never made battery go dead. They also give you a ripping guide also. No matter I still recommend it though. These tools are proven to be durable

Una buena herramienta, y crumple su función corta sin problem las maderas

Cette scie se manipule facilement et sans encombrement de fils puisqu'elle est alimentée par une batterie (qui n'est pas fourni lors de l'achat). Par contre, si tu possèdes déjà une ou des batteries Dewalt cet achat est parfait (moins cher qu'avec l'achat d'une batterie). Coupe très bien le bois avec sa petite lame. De plus, vu que celle-ci est plus petite, elle est moins lourde que les grosses scies circulaires. Cet outil a facilité nos travaux pour le patio, dans la maison. Le seul regret que nous ayons, moi et mon conjoint, c'est de ne pas l'avoir acheté avant. De plus, cette scie sera parfaite pour les petits travaux futurs, nous voyons cela comme un très bon investissement. Un achat fort utile et sans aucun regret car très bon produit pour la qualité/prix.

My 7.25" cordless circular saw is very powerful but heavy. I wanted a smaller saw for lighter jobs, and this 4.25" circular saw fits the bill perfectly. It works as advertised and is still powerful enough for most tasks. Highly recommended.

La Herramienta es muy práctica para recortar, la madera en obra. Te ayuda a no traer herramientas más grandes y un poco estorbosas. Aunque la limitación es el diámetro del corte que permite cortar. Pero para cortar melamina es también muy práctica, solo hay que cambiar le el disco con más dientes para no astillar la melamina.
