I guess it kind of does what it's supposed to? I originally got this so that I could keep a closer eye on how much my fish were eating and feed accordingly, since I've got two HOB filters, a sponge filter, and an air stone, so I have quite a bit of water movement that pushed the food from the top. This keeps it at the top of the water for a few seconds longer than if I weren't using it.

Great Product!
Works great for keeping fish food in one area so fish can eat up quickly so food doesnt get into filter. Love it
