Update: The manufacturer sent me a replacement and exact same issue. They must have changed the formula. Don't waste you money on this more expensive chrome paint.Update: It may not be a formula change, but a defective batch made by VHT. I contacted them and they are looking into the issue. Mean while I had to file an A_Z claim with the seller because he won't let me return the two cans I purchased.I've used this product for many years. It was the only Chrome paint that actually produces a chrome like finish. Well I just ordered two cans from Amazon and quickly discovered they changed the formula. The picture on the left is the new formula and the right side is the original. The UPC and product number SP5251 is exact and the only difference is the description on the can. Original stating "Shiny Plated Appearance" and the new formula stating "Non-Tarnishing Epoxy Finish". My advice save your money as the new formula produces the same results as any cheap chrome spray paint.

I bought this knowing it wouldn't be an exact match for real chrome plating. However, it really isn't any shinier than regular aluminum paint, it only gives the standard, dull "silver grey" look. In fact, I have used some other aluminum paints that are actually brighter. The cap totally misrepresents the color and finish achieved. I gave it two stars as it does seem to be good paint otherwise.

Does not look like The cap like it says. Was very disappointed could of bought regular ol gray. This wasn’t even close to looking like what it claims.

The results from the spray paint in no way approaches Chrome. It is the furthest from that claim. Save you money!!!!!
