This carrier is the best. Being a first time mom so many products are recommended and I just didn't know what to choose. I'm so glad I went with this product after much research. I have been using this carrier for about three months now. The carrier was money friendly compared to others and the name is even catchy. I even taught my boyfriend to use this carrier and ever since then we've been using this thing non stop. Great for mommy and son bonding time. It has been a big help having a new baby and two small dogs that need their evening walks. My dogs are very demanding and pull alot on their leash, but with carrier I no longer have to worry about how I am going to juggle all three. This carrier is safe and secure and my son took to it right away. It is breathable although he still sweats in it, but he has always been a sweaty baby and it is hot in Texas. Its easy to wrap on as well as put my little on in and he even loves it. I've placed him in this carrier while doing small tasks around the house or even just have him close to me and this puts him to sleep every time. I also love that there are so many different ways to wrap the baby in this carrier although I've only tried two, but my boyfriend has let his creative mind go and has tried many wraps. The material is plentiful and long which is good thing because it gives enough to make sure I am wrapping my baby securely, but also a bad thing because trying to place the wrap on in public is a hassle with the ends sometimes hitting the floor and getting nasty. This makes being a mom so much easier and the fact that my boyfriend loves wearing our son in this carrier is an even bigger plus. I would definitely recommend this product because it is a must have mom essential and beats all of those other pricey carriers out there.

I got this carrier as a gift from someone and I also have the solly wrap. I like this one for different reasons than my Solly. Here is my comparison:1. It is thicker and provides almost a different kind of support than the solly. The comfy fabric actually sometimes feel more comfortable for my LO bc he's up close, but wearing him for a longer time it provides more support for my back than the Solly. The solly is nice for dinners, hides the babe and lets him sleep while looking less like I'm wearing a baby. I wore the black solly to dinner at the Ritz and no one even knew I had an infant with us. But wearing the solly all day stretches out and eventually gets pulling on my back and I have to keep readjusting it. That happens less with the funki flamingo since its thicker.2. I prefer the size of the silly wrap over the funki bc it folds up smaller, but neither actually are easy to put on in parking lots... Someone needs to figure that part out, bc you have to drag it on the ground every time you put it on. So my trick to that is putting the wrap on before I get in the car.3. This carrier is hotter and more cozy than the solly, so good for the colder months. The silly wrap is super thin, so sometimes isn't warm enough.4. I prefer this one bc I can wear him for many many hours with less stretching and having to redo it. And bc it costs way less than the solly. But love the solly for shorter more fancy dinners bc it's less bulky.

Product came as quickly as promised. At first I as a little intimidated by how long the fabric was but the directions were very clear to follow and after a couple of practice tries, I had it down. I was surprised with how comfortable it was to wear. I had an ergo baby carrier before and that was almost just as complicated to get on if not more. The thing I love about the flamingo wrap is that I can easily put it on before hand and wear it till I get to my destination then put my baby in it. I have not gotten to wear it for an extended amount of time yet for the comfort, but love wearing it around the house to get odd jobs done and walking on my treadmill while keeping my baby close. It's super easy to wash up too. I do wash my on a delicate cycle in the wash and I do not put in the dryer. I love that with this wrap, my baby has a good view of what is all going on around her. With the ergo baby carrier, she didn't have that and could see a lot around her.

11 months in and 19.5 pounds later I found funki flamingo. I've tried a total of 3 carriers, some were passed down, others I purchased but this one is by far my favorite. The MAIN reason for that is that its easy on the shoulders and lower back. I could use it for hours with no issues. Literally, I went to the zoo and walked up and down hills and had her sleep in it. Love it, wished I had this from the beginning.The picture attached is my 13 year old sister carrying my baby. She said it was more comfortable than her school backpack😂

What an amazing wrap!!!I was always a lover of baby carriers but was nervous for wraps thinking they wouldBe too complicated. Nope they're not bad at all! Especially not this one. The quality is amazing and I love the color grey so that was a huge plus for me! Haha. My baby is one and I used this fine but I also have another on the way so I'm super excited to have this for that baby :) I ordered and received this in two days! Yes just TWO days!!! The Funki Flamingo family are happy sweet people who are so dedicated to customers and their happiness I truly loved that too! Thanks so much to y'all I can do dishes and dance with baby all at once haha

This wrap is exactly as it states. Edge surged, poly blend that's fairly stretchy. The color is pretty much a standard Heather gray t-shirt color. Seems to work fine thus far. Only complaint is that on the included instructions the guide for using it in a back carry were crossed off in permanent marker - very unprofessional looking and vaguely worrisome. However, it's a $30 wrap so if anything it's a good starter for someone looking to get into baby wearing a smaller infant. Overall, positive.

Amazing when my son was a new born. Now he’s a little bigger - and chunkier- I find he sags down after a while no matter how tight I put it on initially. Because of this I have found myself reaching for it less. However when he was newborn I did put him in the wrap sometimes when he was difficult to settle and walked about and he did settle down to sleep which was great.

This was an absolute life saver when my boy was a newborn but he's 3 months now and 14lb and I feel like it just doesn't support him. He's not comfy in it because it stretches no matter how tight I put it, I don't think he feels secure. We have a ergo baby carrier which is great but I was hoping to get more wear out of the sling as its so much more comfy when lounging about the house.

Update I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and very happy with it still and my son is very happy in it.I had a sling wrap with my son and I paid 3x more than this one and was about to buy the same one again when I saw this one and I was very surprised how good it was for the price the material is nice and soft as well,I’m also plus sized size uk 18/20 currently still pregnant 28wks so got a big bump on me and this still had some extra material to go bigger if I was any bigger so definitely recom If your plus sized. Comes with good instructions on ways to wear it I still remember how to do it for my first baby so didn’t need them can be abit tricky the first few times you do it but once you know it’s easy to do. Looking forward to using this.

The material quality is really good, and the length is ample - but this was just too much of a faff for us to use properly. Got one scuessful wear (albeit in the house) but ended up replacing with an alternate one with rucksack style straps instead
