Oh, My...
This just one of in a long line of, stand you on your head and shake vigorously, page burning novels from the mind of, Jeremy Robinson. Mr. Robinson, is in my humble opinion, the very best at he does.

A rare experience
I have to admit I struggled with this one a bit. It seemed to drag a bit and, more than once, I fell asleep. Reading should transport the reader and this one had a much different effect on me than I was expecting. See, I lost my wife a year ago and still see her in a lot of different things every day, none more than our daughter. What Saul experiences during the course of this book, the loss, the love, the strength he didn’t know he had, took me to a place that books rarely do and I would just like to thank JR for that.

WOW!!! just WOW!!!
I am a avid fan of this author. If you like characters that come alive and a story line that grabs you and a pace of action that is keeps you engaged than his books are for you.In Tether the main character Saul Singleman is awakened by an explosion that rocks Cambridge, Massachusetts. Blue, ethereal light pulses into the sky. A phone message from his wife telling him goodbye leaves him stunned as it is abruptly ended because all power goes down. The race begins for Saul to find his wife. He heads into the dark racing to his wife’s lab at the explosion’s core, but the building is missing. She is gone. Is she dead? Saul does not want to believe this. All that is left is Rain, a woman with no memory, whose eyes glow when she comes into contact with unseen forces ...Is he able trust her? Will she have the answers to his missing wife? Will he survive what has happened?!If you have never read a Jeremy Robinson book you have missed out.

Giant ghosts, oh my
I love Jeremy Robinson’s work, but this one was just a bit far out for me. I’m more of an Infinite guy, than a giant flippin weaponized ghost monster guy. I need a thread of plausibility to hold on to, but that’s just me. As always, well written, good characters, but let me know when another sci-fi entry comes along.

well that was new lol
Need a new book? You don’t read anything but romance? Yea, me either! Give this a try. It’s well written, and I liked the love story. It’s not a romance but it was rolling the whole time. I had to shush people to let me read in peace I was so absorbed.

Definitely different in a good way
Not what I expected but I’ve come to really enjoy his books no matter how strange some are. He does excellent characters with genuinely funny momentsMaybe I’ll even become a fan of giant monsters. Which is saying a lot because I don’t even like Godzilla or King Kong . But I like Mr Robinsons giant monsters.

A new twist in Giant monster action
Tether is another innovative tale from the mind that first created the Kaiju thriller genre. In many ways this book feels like one of Robinson's early works, that combined twisted science with fast paced action. Tether takes this simple premise into all new territory by mixing in giant monsters and supernatural phenomenon. When I reviewed the first Kaiju rising collection I said that combining Godzilla style action with Lovecraftian monsters was an idea full of unexplored possibilities. While not quite cosmic horror, Tether does deliver on this premise, with the strangest monsters I have ever seen in a kaiju novel The monsters in this story are Robinson's best original creations since Nemesis, and the action scenes with them are detailed and vivid. The characters are diverse and interesting and they explored directions Robinson has rarely taken his characters before. There isn't a lot else I can say without spoiling the story so I will just say that I loved this book and I really hope there is a sequel someday.

A kaiju treat!
Tether by Jeremy Robinson is yet another great kaiju novel. The premise is very unique. Imagine giant monsters that phase in and out of reality. I would tell you more but that would spoil it. Like the majority of this author's novels, Tether is action packed with likable, witty characters. If you like sci-fi, horror, or giant monsters; Jeremy's books are brilliant! Also recommend Apocalypse Machine and the Project Nemesis series.

An extremely original and unique plot!
I think the best thing that can be said about any standalone novel is that you wish it was a series!I wish this book was the jumping off point for a series of books, a very long series! Jeremy's writing style is action packed and fast moving! This book started off with a bang and raced on from there, so you'll never be bored.I am very glad I happened upon Jeremy and his books!

Another wild ride from Robinson.
When you start reading a Jeremy Robinson book, the only thing you know for sure, is that you won't be disappointed. Tether is no exception. When Saul Signalman is shaken from the btink of sleep by a tremor and sees a column of blue light rising into the sky nr boston he's concerned. When his wife FaceTimes to say goodbye from its source, he know his life will never be the same again. He rushes to the lab to find his wife and everything else is gone. Almost everything. At the bottom of a six storey deep crater that used to be his wife's lab, is a lone survivor. Who has no idea who she is. Thus begins his quest for both answers, and survival, whilst being dogged by unknown enemies at every turn. This book expertly crafted and as fast a paced adventure as you could hope for anywhere, and a twisting plot takes the characters, and the reader through every emotion. If this is your first Jeremy Robinson book, I'm fairly confident it won't be your last.
