Stainless Steel South Indian Filter Coffee Drip Maker

Daily driver. Manual coffee filter for Indian household.

This is a decent coffee filter for making south indian filter coffee. Put the coffee and hot water in the top chamber and let the coffee drip gradually to the bottom chamber. Only disadvantage is that the entire product is made of stainless steel. So holding the product with hot water inside can actually burn tour fingers. Ensure that you’re using gloves.

I got some free samples of Cothas Coffee powder at a South Indian cultural event I went to in the Bay Area, and I have always loved Madras Coffee but never made it at home. So I decided to take the plunge and bought this percolator. It works beautifully and makes delicious coffee (with milk and optionally sugar). In retrospect, I should probably have gone for a larger size -- its technically a 1-cup percolator but I prefer larger cups.

Good quality product. I am using it daily.

Not actual filter coffee like South India but just a filter, a good substitute to expresso machine. But works good, for one cup only at a time.

Works well

AFter adding coffee and adding boiling water - the insert does not keep coffee under it and therefore all the hot water trickles down quickly and coffee generated is very watery. Poor quality. The insert seems to be not matching the diameter of the container

The first time I made coffee I got only half a cup of coffee liquor, The next couple of times I got varying amounts of coffee liquor in different durations-some 30 minutes and some over an hour The coffee is good mixed with sugar and milk but every time is a different result Maybe I need to perfect my technique

I purchased this coffe filter hoping to make a good cup of coffe and it truly dint disappoint. I had to wait 3 weeks for it to arrive and it's absolutely worth it.
