I bought them for back pain relief and they do seem to work to some extent. That being said they are a bit hard to get used to. I feel like my weight is shifted forward to the point that my balance is affected. Maybe with time I'll get used to them.

The one inch helps a lot, but takes some adjusting in the shoe. It's not perfect, but much better than without it. I would like it to adhere better in the shoe, since it does move around a little.

I purchased these because they are thicker, but they are “cushier” than expected, as result compress flatter than I’d hoped. If the extra cushion is what you’re looking for, they are pretty good! I was just searching for more height in my insert to help with my Achilles Tendonitis. I will just continue buying the brand’s same item with a slightly lower, but more stable-feeling wedge.

They fit nicely, and worked fairly well at first and I was pretty happy. After a couple of months of daily wear for 8 hours they are becoming noticably flatter.
