Premium Stainless Steel 2 Roller Crusher Malt Grain Mill Kit

Overall so far so good. I was a bit worried as there were no reviews but first run and everything is ok. The mill doesn't come with much in the way of instructions but to be fair it's pretty easy to build. The roller adjusters are easy to set, the whole thing is stainless steel and feels very sturdy. It comes with a hand crank but I fitted a cordless drill. When I posted my pictures to a well known homebrew forum a few have commented that it looks identical to the Brewferm Gorilla Mill. I've dropped my review from 5 to 4 stars as there are two slight 'issues' one of which almost rendered the whole thing unusable! First Issue: You need to purchase 2 bolts to attach the mill to some sort of (not included) base plate (top tip, £6/7 bamboo chopping board from Tesco and a jigsaw). The 2 drilled holes on the base of the mill seem to be M5 (there's no instructions for that part) but the thread doesn't quite fit (I wonder if it's a US sizing rather than UK?) As such, one of my bolts has completely jammed on to the unit and I had to use an angle grinder to take the top off. I managed to put a couple of plastic brackets on to firm the unit up and it works absolutely fine, but I wasn't overly impressed by that. I think my problem was that I tried to use bolts that are too long as the other side seems to be ok. A couple of 1 inch M5 bolts should work fine if you're gentle. Second: I was finding that as I was milling the grain stopped self feeding, I posted the attached picture of the inside to one of the popular homebrew forums and was advised that the gap where the grain feeds in to the rollers was too narrow. I've bent that out now so hoping it will be ok on my next brew day, either way not a huge issue, I just gave the hopper a little shake when it stopped feeding and it was fine. In summary, it took me a long time to decide what mill to buy and with all the popular homebrew shops out of stock, I took the plunge on this and I don't regret it. The grain feeding problem I think is more just a bit of fine tuning opposed to an actual problem but the roller threads to attach to a base is definitely something you need to be aware of (I may have just had a dodgy thread but who knows). As long as you're careful not to balls up the base fitting like I did you'll be very happy with this mill

Top, contrôle parfait de la taille de mouture. Un peu cher tout de même, on trouve le meme modele un peu moins cher et mieux équipé (base pour seau) sur d’autres sites. Même mécanisme que le gorilla grain brewferm.

Ho aspettato quasi un anno di utilizzo prima di scrivere una recensione. Funziona perfettamente e dopo un anno non ha presentato alcun difetto o segno di ruggine. Se cercate un mulino per l'homebrewing questo prodotto è davvero il meglio che possiate trovare.

Diese Mühle ist im Lieferzustand nicht funktionsfähig. Neben fehlender Befestigungsschraube des Einlasstrichters sind Bohrung der Kurbel 8,0mm und Welle zur Aufnahme der selben mit 9,5mm nicht montierbar.

Montagem não pode ser feita conforme manual.
