Bang for the Buck!!!
Because of the Stay at Home situation, family was coming from New York City to my rural area in order to escape COVID virus exposure. We kept thinking of things we could do since we couldn't go anywhere. At some point I decided to look into a projector so we could watch movies outdoors in the summer nights. I was an absolute novice as to what I was looking for in the way of a projector. I was teased at first because I had seen numerous projectors under $100 so that more than fit my budget without a doubt. Being the skeptic that I am, I stepped back and thought that it sounds too good to be true. I decided I need to become familiar with projector specs and scoured the internet further. I then came across some name brand projectors, like Epson, which were priced much higher in the $700 - $1,000 range - NOT in my budget. I did however look at the specs to see what it provided that cheaper projectors didn't have. I watched various YouTube videos to get more familiar and reached a point where I knew what to be careful about in the descriptions of less expensive ones. This made me realize that there are various deceiving claims to be aware of. Being confused with sooooo many projectors having brand names that were completely unknown to me, I was thinking maybe I should play it safe and buy from a local store so I could return it if I was not satisfied. I noticed that they favored just one brand with decent reviews and was priced around $300. However, before pulling the trigger, I searched the internet some more and focused on reviews. Lo & behold I came across the Yaber 31 projector which was in my price range, had great specs and the reviews were very favorable and so helpful. It was then that I felt very good about making a blind purchase of a brand I was not familiar with. I pulled the trigger to make the purchase. I was very pleased with the prompt shipping of my order. The package arrived earlier than the estimated arrival date. It came on a Friday together with the 100" folding screen I ordered from another merchant on Amazon. A few of us unboxed it that evening in eagerness to do our first outdoor movie night. We found a tree branch - hung the screen and began making adjustments. I had an Amazon Fire Stick I also ordered, so we plugged it in and it was pretty much an easy setup for our tech savviness level. We had a movie up and running within a half hour. As we fine tuned the projector to expand the full length of the screen, I became ecstatic how awesome the clarity and HD quality was being projected. Everyone was amazed and could not believe how nice our movie looked on a screen in the dark night of our yard. The projector itself has a very good sound, but we ran a Bose speaker via bluetooth then corded which gave us a better sound for everyone to hear. We had a successful showing with a group of 21 people and EVERYONE gave two thumbs up when the movie ended. Since that night, everyone has looked forward to our Friday movie night. Our crowd spread to neighbors coming over as well and said they've never seen anyone having a simple projector to view outdoor movies. They too commented positively on the quality and asked me where I purchased it. One night during the week, we projected YouTube video on an interior wall just before it was dark and actually had a viewable image. In the evening the picture became deeper in rich color and was just as amazing as the one on the screen. This Yaber 31 projector has been truly my best purchase of the year. Stop looking any further, add to your Cart and Checkout immediately before these might run out of stock and you'll miss the joy I'm having with it. Happy watching!

Great projector...worth it over low level/low priced units...
Before settling on the Yaber Y31 model, I had compared four other projector's, (including the Yaber Y30) from about 50 bucks up to this unit which was a little over $240 on a lightning sale. I decided seeing the difference between each one that it was worth the money in terms of long-term satisfaction of having a nice sharp clear picture with a native1080P resolution and the highest possible brightness and contrast ratio. Of course you can spend several thousand and have performance very close to a flat screen television but for much less I am very satisfied with the way this projector performs. It was especially nice to have on a camping trip as you see in the photos. We were amazed at the realistic look of Sandra Bullock and George Clooney floating around in space on a 10 ft. screen in the movie "Gravity" out in the beautiful wilderness of Colorado. Since it was pretty chilly at night, we pulled the car behind the projector sitting on a tripod mountable shelf, connected a bluetooth transmitter dongle to the audio output, and had a bluetooth speaker in the SUV, so we had our homemade drive-in theater while staying cozy warm in the car!We used a 300W/500 WH battery invertor generator for power, and I had tested the time it would last and got about 3.5 hours out of it before having to recharge (using a solar panel the next day). So having the numbers from watt-hours and 3.5 hrs. run time, I figured the run wattage on the Yaber to be about 120-125 watts. I have seen the question raised repeatedly on various projector listing pages asking for wattage, pobably for this very reason- how long will my projector last on a battery generator? So it would be very helpful for more of these companies to give that statistic on the sale page (and the owner's manual) to help when calculating a model that fits needs for remote power, such as camping. I will contact Yaber and offer that suggestion to add that info.I did dock the remote control by 1 star because Yaber went backwards from the Y30 to the Y31. The 30's remote had dedicated buttons for ff, rw, next, and go back functions, but on the 31 remote those functions require navigating an on-screen menu bar and hitting "OK". Why make the latest model less user friendly from it's predecessor?...so IMO, a backwards move...oh well...at least it's somewhat minor, and I love everything else about it, and would recomend it to others, keeping in mind that if you're picky about pictue quality, it's worth the higher price over the low level models, and Prime store card holders can easily afford this better model buing it with 6 months no interest payments, so it's a WIN-WIN!!
