My 8th grade middle school students love sitting on this with pillows. The rug is actually slightly padded. I have it located in my cool down center.

Looks great in my grandkids bedroom. Soft and cushy to walk on.

This product is more of a soft velvet mat than a rug. I like it. Pictures is my 59 inch desk with it for scale.I’d say if you know it is not really a carpet and you are alright with that this is cools. Soft to the touch, so it is nice barefoot while I’m in the computer.It picks up and shows all the dirt (it is black haha) but the material does a good job of keeping hold of all the dirt haha

As long as you measure before hand it should fit the room just right! It looks great in my sons map quest of a room its durable great kids rug quality and easy to use came prepared to just roll right on to the designated spot! Accurate map lay out to!

I purchased this rug for my third grade classroom. This is NOT a rug that would work in a reading area or for a whole group area. This is more of a rug for a playgroup where students can crawl around on it or walk periodically on the rug and notice the different continents. The top of the rug is a thin material that adheres to a baseline padding similar to the kind you find on a dishrack. I love the detail of the printing on the graphic but alas, not something that would work in a classroom with students stabbing their pencils into the carpet, wrestling books from each other with their serraded edges of their shoes, and literally twisting their shoes on the surface to change position. Great details on the graphics, awesome fit to the size, coloring is amazing, love everything except the durability of the materials.

The map is accurate and image quality is good.It’s advertised as 7’x5’ but it is not6’7x4’7 is the accurate dimensions of this mat (it’s not really a rug; more of a mat)
