SummerTies Silk Necktie - Woven Silk, Printed Silk, Standard Length, Kids Length, Extra Long

My husband, Navy retiree, was so pleased when I gifted him with this great tie. It was greeted with great appreciation by him and he wears it with the pride of a Naval officer proud to be have been a sailor. Since I am the buyer for his wardrobe he relies on me to keep him sharply dressed. This tie fits the bill for a well-dressed ex-Navy man.

I own more than one SummerTies tie and have been absolutely pleased with past products. But, I didn't look carefully at the picture here before placing an order for a yellow woven tie. If I had, I would have noticed the darker stripes running through the tie behind the woven characters. This is not, I suspect, meant to be part of the design, and in my opinion makes the tie look cheap. It's not something I'll wear. The stripes were far more prevalent in person - they were the first thing I noticed. So if you are choosing a lighter-colored woven tie, look closely at the picture.

Good quality tie at a reasonable price, and long enough for a very tall space cadet like me.Time will tell how it wears, both in fabric quality and "Whuh?" factor.

I got this for my husband for Easter. His favorite color is yellow and he loves the idea of sailing though we have not yet invested in a boat. It’s his new favorite tie, though I should note, I thought the boats were blue. They are actually more of a silver color. Still a really nice tie though.

My almost 9 y/o loves this tie. May require a thicker knot (to use up more tie and make it the right length) like a full Windsor for a shorter kid, which works great for him (4’7”).

The quality of the tie is good. It looks good on picture but in reality, the colours really pop. The seller included complementary cufflinks with each tie I ordered with a similar print (not the exact, but works well with the tie).

Tie was excellent quality and perfect fit for my 8 yr. old son.Looks like a time from a famous name brand. Will be purchasing more.

Great tie; perfect extra long length, great conversation starter with and for my students. Love the colors and the elephant image. And, it's good for wear other than just "summer."
