A good alternative for the real thing
For being plastic and mechanical, this little robo-dog is quite cute and cuddly. My grandson love it.

Granddaughter is very happy.
Gave this as a gift to my 7 yr old granddaughter for her birthday. She was so excited and it even sang her happy birthday.

Doesnt work after a few usages.
I got it for Christmas. My daughter used it a handful of times and now it doesn't work.The dog turns on but is stuck, legs don't move. Im past return window which is a bummer.

Remote doesn't work
I bought Rick for me to play with my dog. Half the buttons on the remote don't work, and the ones that do, like the turn left button which Rick doesn't do, he just goes forward. There isn't an off/on button on the remote, although the directions keep referring to one. He falls down a lot and turns himself off on his own while my dog and I are playing. There are many other issues. This is the 2nd. one that I have. The first one was having the same issues, so I exchanged him. The seller did exchange Rick quite quickly, but this 2nd. one has the same issues. I definitely wouldn't buy one.
