I've had them since March 2022. They don't rust or change color or whatever but if you're crazy about germs and infection like me and wash them every day and before you put them on, the black color will peel a tiny bit after a billion washes. Also, the piece that goes through your ear is a little thicker than normal, but I got it through and kept them in for my ear to adjust to the slightly thicker size. The ones that aren't normal earrings are the thicker ones like the cross and the circle ones.

I bought these for my daughter. She is young and liked a few of them. She isn't into the cross type and she does not wear religious symbols but says if a person did they wod like that they are lightweight. Anyway, she has so far worn 4 different pairs and is "happy" with them. She is not one to complain as she's too soft hearted. I am one to complain if I see a problem however. So, here it is- My daughter is 18 and had her ears pierced 5 months ago. They healed nicely and she took great care of them as they healed. Until she got these she had only worn sterling silver and white gold earrings. She wore the first pair 4 days- no problems. None with the 2nd pair either. The 3rd pair was the post with a little dot( the smallest pair in the item picture. She woke up in the night HORRIFIED! I asked what's going on? She was frantically pacing and holding her ear with tears beginning to build. I had to grab her to snap her out of her FEAR and noticed she was bleeding, a fact she already knew. She had fallen asleep with that pair of earrings in and one of them hadorked its way back inside her piercing and the sharp post worked its way in the other direction. You could not see the earring at all, not from the front or the back. You could however see it UNDER THE SKIN of her earlobe ! It startled the heck out of me and working in the ER I have seen A LOT. Anyway, I had to get a set of toothed forceps (like a Dr holds a needle with while stitching) and we had to stretch the earlobe apart so I could grab the head of the post where it attached to the little ball and then pull it backwards. It pushed the other end of the post further into her ear but it was the only way. Be wary of these and don't sleep in the. She hasn't worn any of them since.
