I bought these as part of my mission this year to put less paper and plastic into the trash. Unlike many of the more dainty reviewers here, I actually use these for blowing my nose all day, mostly due to chronic hay fever. They are absorbent and dry amazingly quickly - who knew how much mucus was made of water?! (Yuck I know). At the end of the day, toss each one into the laundry and they still look fine, having saved at least 3 - 5 paper facial tissues. In spite of washing and drying with some uncented fabric softener, they are rougher than I would like. During a bad cold, I would probably switch back to my Vick’s scented Pufs to avoid a sore nose.

I purchased a set of these, a year ago, plus some others of similar size from different vendors. They work great for me and are good quality. I am on here to order more.In my case, I have a left weepy eye, and am a preacher and pastor. So I was looking for something to fit inconspicuously into the palm of my hand when using, so to be able to quickly wipe eye or nose, AND also to fit into my pockets--- jacket, skirt, slacks, or clergy robe pocket. These fit my needs perfectly and I love the subtle blue embroidery; it makes me feel cheerful.My only word of caution---DO make sure you get the ones with embroidery on them, such as these. Maybe order extra.Then be especially vigilant when doing the laundry, or seeing a white tissue on the floor (that fell out of those shallow women's pockets. White hankies this size are easy to mistake for that dreaded disposable tissue in a pocket on a laundry day. My husband and I must have tossed a number of these while aggressively checking pockets before laundry.When I bought these, I also bought some of the same size without embroidery. I have none left of the un-embroidered ones.That little splash of color, which is also cheerful and pretty, has saved the life of some but not all of these hankies. Sigh, this is why I am here buying more. In your case, you may not be so forgetful and distracted and they should last for years! I am completely satisfied with these hankies.

I probably would not order these again. I ordered two other sets when I ordered these. Both other sets were colored and I've decided I like them better than these white ones. I ordered them because of the delicate butterflies on the corners. The flowers and butterflies are pretty but I really prefer the colored handkerchiefs. Also, these are significantly smaller than the others I ordered. The size limits their usefulness. The larger ones will definitely be more helpful if I need to blow my nose or clean up a grandson's knee after a fall. That being said, if you are looking for something to catch your tears at a wedding, these would be perfect for that; pretty, feminine, small enough to fit in your hand without drawing attention. They are just as described, very pretty.

Besides being functional they are very pretty. I always carry one in my purse because I get sweaty in the heat as I live in the south. It feels so good to pull out one of these pretty hankies to wipe my forehead. They wash up beautifully.I will order some for my daughter. And have already told my friends to order them.

So there was mention of these hankies shrinking and the lace pulling up. I just pulled the hanky in the picture out of the dryer and I think it’s fine. It’s a hanky - used to dry tears - and clutch, (lol). They are still lovely and I recommend them.

I bought these as a gift for my grandmother who has dementia and is difficult to shop for. I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty they were and how well made they were. They looked they they should have been much more expensive. She loved how soft they were and they seem to bring her comfort.

These are very nice handkerchiefs. I bought them because my eyes have been swollen lately. The doctor prescribed eye drops and I use the handkerchiefs to dab my eyes. I was using kleenex but since they are made from paper I thought the cotton handkerchiefs would be much better and softer for my eyes. I was right. Women's handkerchiefs are not particularly easy to find.

Loved the embroidered , lacy hankies. I originally ordered some plain white, mens hankies and , while they’re just fine for at home use, having a pretty lacy hankie is so girlie I regret not getting these years ago.My SIL stayed with us for over a month this past Christmas and I was stunned how much tissue she ‘blew’ through (lol). I ordered both the plain and the lacy and definitely prefer the latter. They wash up easily and are frequently dry and ready to go in, many times, an hour or so!They keep their shape beautifully and are robust enough for a long day of wiping.Highly recommend and they’re so pretty.

The handkerchiefs wash well and do get softer and more absorbent with each wash. I've had mine for about a month and a half. The lace and embroidery has stood up as well.

These arrived very quickly like I had hoped. I used them as 'happy tears' hankies for my wedding.I got 2 sets of each colour of blue, purple and pink. The corner where the embroidered flowers are has a cute lace butterfly. There is only one corner where the butterfly and embroidery is. The embroidery was done very well with no lose strings.I definitely recommend this product.

I used these for gifts for the mother of the Bride & Groom and Grandmother's they both thought it was a nice thought and they definately used them to wipe their happy tears. Great keepsake. I was very happy !!

Pretty hankies. Thin. Moderately absorbent. I iron them after washing. Quite lovely. However small and if you are out in the cold with a drippy nose may want to bring a a couple. I purchased some men’s hankies too.

Very good price for 100% cotton handkerchiefs. Stitched with machine embroidery. They washed fine with my other whites. They shrank a bit in the wash which is to be expected with cotton and they are still a good size - not too big which I prefer for a women's hanky.
