First Data FD130 Terminal with WiFi

Arrive very fast and Ready to be program. I got Bank of America (First Data) and just need to call support line between 8am -8pm to speak to an account manager to setup a new terminal ID. They just need to verify where you order it from and the serial number. They was able to lookup the machine by serial number and setup the file for this terminal to download. Just a few number and it is able to download the latest software and ready to use. WiFi, NFC /EMV Contactless, and Chipcard/ EMV Contact, and swipe, all works perfectly. Actual programming only take 10-20min after you get a hold of somebody that is able to create the terminal ID on your account. Picture show the screen that appears when it arrived or when after machine is factory reset, just download, enter your Terminal ID, APN and Run.

received order in box in two days time as promised. the terminal was plugged in and turned on. called first data and it took 25 minutes to program for my office. the terminal works as planned. ethernet connection is much faster then telephone line. wifi took 10 mins to get connected - have not tried it yet.. This machine is three times faster then my fd 50. chip card reader is much faster then sliding a card through. my credit card processing company wanted me to buy the machine from them -- don't do it. Also don't rent a machine. you get a two year warranty with your credit card and this is way cheaper then renting even if the machine breaks.

I usually wait at least 90 days before I review a product but I have to say this is much faster than the last generation card machine that we had and was taking forever to process cards with chips. Our old FD100 would also disconnect (lost comm with host) at will and we would have to start the transaction all over again. Our processor told us it was our phone line. We had Comcast check it out and it was fine. Then they told us the FD100 was too old....huh? You just sold it to us 2 years ago......and that we need a fancy all touch screen BINFORD 9500 for $$$$$. Don't drink the kool aid. This one works fine and transactions with the chips are fast. Since it comes unlocked it will take over an hour to download the program from your processor but it was worth it.

Works well but loses terminal connection often. Pre-authorizations are not as easy as our old terminal had allowed. We are not sure if the issues are with the terminal or our service provider.

I have ordered two of these--one for each office my company has. The one at our main location works fine and was easy to set up/connect to WiFi. The other one won't connect to WiFi and won't print receipts properly. We returned it with no issues and ordered a new one; review will be updated if the terminal works fine. Overall, it's a great machine--we just received poor results with the second one.

Just 2 months of use, it started acting up. Having printing issues. The information on the receipt in not legible. Also, it freezes after taking 10 or 15 customers. I have to re-start this machine every half hour. waste of money.

Works well. Does it all chip, Apple Pay, cards. And great price! The bank wanted to charge nearly twice as much but had no problem setting this up.

Didn't realize that the terminal does not have pin debit key injection. If you need pin debit you'll have to buy an external pin pad.
