Tostitos Dip, Salsa Con Queso, Medium, 15oz

I'm trying to create a little tortilla chip system for myself, so that I have dips available which just taste good when I'm hungry, but I'm also looking at the other ingredients to use for the layers in nachos, etc.. So far, this Tostitos Dip is my go-to first choice for just tortilla chips and dip!!! It's so danged delicious!!! At first I thought it was too spicy and I was planning on diluting it with a little sour cream, but then suddenly, I liked it as it is, which is great because when you're hungry and need "grab and go" food, you're not going to want to mess around with adding the sour cream. Tortilla chips and salsa is just too tomatoey for me, and tortilla chips with refried beans is too bland (but would be greatly improved with this Tostitos Dip alongside!! Win-Win, plus the combination of tortilla chips and refried beans gives complete protein, so that's a plus which this Tostitos Dip makes possible. Now that I have the great tortilla chips and dip combination locked down, I'm freer to experiment with making things for and with tortilla chips, such as nachos, guacamole, and cowboy caviar ---things which take more time than just using this excellent Tostitos Dip. Please, Tostitos, make an organic version!!! Anyway, I recommend this Queso dip, it's packed with flavor and is so delicious!!

Great to put on chips

Super yummy with soft heated pretzels!! Perfect consistency, cheap, I just wish they'd sell it in larger containers!

Just what you’d expect. Unnaturally smooth and clearly heavily processed “cheese” that fulfills a craving for concession stand nachos perfectly.

Tastes good same as the ones in the grocery store

I love cheese dips so this is top of the line for me. It tastes great. I do wish I could get a milder spiciness but none of the grocery or convenience stores here ever seem to have anything but the medium spiciness. This is great for dipping chips. I often use this with wavy chips to hold more of it on the chip. But be aware its very messy if you get it on anything. And it does stain clothes badly. When the level of dip gets lower, you get it all over your hands trying to dip into the tall jar. For that reason, I don't care for the tall jar. You can only dip chips for about the first 50% of the dip. Then you can't get the chips or your fingers deep enough to get to the dip. You have to pour it out onto a plate or dish and dig the rest of it out with a spoon. The tall jar just makes it difficult. The jar does seem to be breakable glass too. I would think a lower wider plastic would be a better container and allow the price to be a bit lower. You definately dont want to spill this on anything by breaking the jar. However you could empty the jar, remove the label, and reuse the glass jar and lid for another purpose. Its not air tight so dont put perishables in it.

Love this cheese dip. It goes with tortilla chips, wraps, tacos, and or on a hamburger. Dip has a jalapeno spiciness that is just right.

Great taste. More authentic cheese flavor than many other products. And great assortment.
