The media could not be loaded. This is a great knives set, and comes well presented. It's unusual in that the upper half of the blades are coating with a low-friction layer. It looks like a decoration, which gives an artistic effect although I find the black rather unusual (gun metal would be better I think!). What it means though is that it is easier to cut through thick vegetables and things like cheese. Most normal knives can be quite difficult to cut through cheeses, as the cheese sticks to the blade as more of it sinks into the block - hence the thin cheese knives you can get. With these knives the black coating significantly reduces this friction making it much easier to cut all the way through. (I have tried to show this in a short video, but whilst I could feel the difference, I'm not sure that it comes through visually!)The handles are nicely shaped to be comfortable in use.. They look like a high quality wood grain, but are actually a rubbery plastic! It is an effective look and can be mistaken for wood sometimes.The range of knives means there's something to suit each occasion; whether it's cutting an apple with the small knife or taking a celeriac to task with the big chopping knife. The blades are sharp and are holding their edge well.My personal opinion is that I don't really get much benefit out of using the peeler. I think the ceramic blade, whilst being ideal for some, isn't my preference. But I didn't get the knives for the peeler, so it doesn't impact my overall rating.The scissors are good, slightly above average quality for kitchen scissors.Overall, a good and well-used purchase.

Very good knives, easy in use, sharp, good quality on a friendly price.I love this kit, especially the small knife which is for fish / meat fillets as I'm passionate eating sea food and fresh fish

The knives look beautiful, different, very comfortable and pleasant to use and most importantly VERY SHARP, Including scissors and a peeler. I have been using them for almost a month. I've never had knives so sharp in my kitchen. I am very pleased!I haven't washed them in the dishwasher, and I have no such intention.

The set is of very good quality and good value for money, however the description says that a bread knife is included. There is a knife on the picture that looks like a bread knife, however this knife is actually a cleaver. The set was therefore of no use to me and I returned it.

Comfortable handle easy to clean and very sharp

As a chef I can’t begin to explain how blown away I’ve been with these knives so far been using them in my job to prep with and even have co-workers compliment how amazingly sharp they are and have the perfect weight in the handle! For the price and value for money you are getting a fantastic product! Can’t recommend these enough.
