Another Quality HORI Product
I'm a huge fan of HORI's 3DS products, their design is simple, but the function is fantastic and this 3DS Game Card Case is no exception. As someone who has a VERY extensive library of Nintendo DS and 3DS games, I have frequently run into the problem of how to store all my games and ensure they're safe. I initially bought this case as a sort of "overflow" but once it got here and I started putting games in it, I was so impressed that I purchased another one and now I plan to completely consolidate my DS/3DS game library into only these cases. What's so great about it, you ask? (1) How you insert/take out the games is nearly EXACTLY like the actual box the DS/3DS games come in. You push it towards the little bracket and pull it out. It's really difficult to explain what I mean by that via text, but to make the image a little clearer: you can take your DS/3DS games directly out of the box and insert them into this case using the same methods. And if Nintendo ships their games that way, you know it's a good way to store games. (2) There's a sort of bump guard protection at the top and bottom of the game card case. Basically, your games do not sit near the edge of the case on any side, which provides extra protection in case of drops. (3) The plastic feels like a quality plastic, not something that's going to break in a week. (4) The game "pages" (basically where the games are kept) are secured in via tiny screws and feel sturdy. (5) There is a small overlap when you shut and clasp the case, meaning that dust and other small particles will be kept out, HOWEVER: I would not go so far as to say this makes it water proof, and I'm not going to try to prove that either. :) Overall, this is a very quality HORI product. I've purchased numerous DS/3DS products throughout the period that I've owned the systems and I always find HORI to be the best. UPDATE 3/1/15: I'm now entering into my THIRD one of these to contain my ever-growing library of 3DS and DS games. I purchased my first one about 3 months ago and still have had no problems with them. The latches on the outside work perfectly, the "pages" are still in tact inside. They both still look new. The DS family of systems have always been my favorite gaming systems (if you couldn't tell!) and by far these are the best cases to hold all my games securely that I've ever found. I really can't stop praising them.

The best game case I've ever owned
I really like this case. The build quality is very nice, everything feels tight and not cheap in the slightest. It supports both 3DS and DS game cards. There are also removable SD card adapters so you can store an extra SD card if you want. If you'd rather store an extra game the SD card holding piece can be removed completely or moved to another slot that's out of the way. The outside of the case has a snapping latch which is very firm. It's not likely to accidentally pop open. The card holding slots are a little stiff, and you need to note that you need to press the cards from the outside edge in to safely remove them. It's not designed for this, but you can put the 6 paper AR cards that came with the 3DS in the back for safe keeping. I'm not sure why you would do this, but you can also remove the 'pages' from the rest of the case. I highly recommend this case for both 3DS and DS owners, as the case works for both cards. The way it allows you to present your games is very slick with the double sided "pages".

Lots of DS or 3DS games? This is one of few large storage solutions.
As someone who owns many DS and 3DS games, a game case like this is a welcome accessory to store all my games for easy access. It is also probably only one of the only game cases that can hold more than 3-6 games, with the only other product being the seemingly now discontinued Penguin United soft DS carry case, which I also recommended. The HORI case stands out over other cases not only because of it's storage capacity, but also because of the hard plastic shell, giving it an extra layer of protection from drops or impact. So far the games go in and out easily enough and there doesn't seem to be any of the usual brittleness that an all plastic product would normally have, such as tabs thaty easily bend and eventually break. While it hasn't happened to me yet, plastic products in general, especially lower priced ones, usually do have the tendency to shatter and snap apart over time, so if you intend to use this case in a rough fashion, such as traveling or commuting or by giving it to a young child, you still have to take caution that the case doesn't take enough impact to shatter the outer shell or the plastic parts that allow the case to lock the games in place. The case also comes with an SD card adapter. I never use it so I can't really say much about it. It's much easier to buy 1 large SD card than having multiple for your DLC games. All in all a good product. I recommend the case for those who have many games and don't want to carry around dozens of the little plastic sleeves that only carry 3 or so games and those who want a step up from the old soft Penguin United cases. You still have to treat the case gently, but it's much better than having a ton of loose games getting lost in your bag or around the house.

This is the best 3DS game case I've found and I really like it.
First of all I had a bad experience with another product- I had a bad DS game case before that I purchased from a retail store. It was hard to fit the games in and out of and I was always concerned that the game cartridges were going to be damaged by how much I had to rip it in and out to play it. I even played the games I stored in it less just to avoid the process of using the case. This product is MUCH nicer- The plastic and clips in this game case, however, are much easier to use when putting games in and taking games out of it. All of the game cartridges are snug and safe, yet they are easy to retrieve when I want them. The case itself feels sturdy and firm and I have no worries about my game cards when taking it with me in a pocket or a bag. It comfortably fits either 3DS or classic DS games in any of its cartridge shaped slots which is important since 3DS games have a little tag shaped protrusion on the top right corner that prevents them from fitting into game cases not designed specifically for them. There is a sleeve for holding an SD card in one of the slots but it can be moved to another slot or simply removed. I didn't want to lose it so I put it on the back page. This game card case is a life saver for long trips and waiting rooms since I can take a huge variety of 3DS and DS games with me while not taking up too much space. It fits easily into a pocket. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to open but otherwise good
My only complaint is that the flap that keeps the case closed is on there too tightly; I have to dig my nail under there to get it to open. Otherwise, I like it a lot. It's one of the only cases I've found that can hold all my 3ds games, and the games click into the holders securely while still being easy to remove. The case is also pretty much as small as it could be and still hold that many games, so it's easy to find space for it in my backpack. This is easily the best 3ds-compatible game case I've found.

Secure and Sturdy HORI Case - Just keep the two steps in mind (mostly the second).
Short a simple: This is a nice case for carrying around up to 24 DS and 3DS games with you. It's around the same size as a standard N3DS (non-XL) and feels oddly... comfortable to hold. The games will go in quite firmly, so they definitely won't fall out, but I should mention two things: 1) If you put the game in on the left-most slot of either side, place the right side of your cartridge in and snap the left side in. It's not explicitly a requirement, but I'm sure it's easier on the case and will give you piece of mind that your game is properly in. Vice versa for the right slot. 2) When removing a cartridge, grab hold of the entire "page" (for lack of a better word) of cartridges and press gently on the side of the cartridge to remove it. From the outer edge (so for cartridges on the left slot, press the left side and lift). This will ensure you don't damage your cartridge or case when removing the game. I say this all as precautionary measures. The case feels very sturdy and I'm somewhat impressed. I was worried it would feel flimsy and replaceable, but as long as I follow those two steps, I don't think I'll ever need another case for my DS and 3DS games. I may need to buy a second at some point as my 3DS (and DS) library grows. I put all of my DS games alongside my 8 3DS games in the case and... well... I'm almost out of space. I had a lot of DS games with no proper case for them. At least now I can take them wherever I want in a suitably weighty and secure protective case. I honestly doubt there's a better case for your DS/3DS cartridges. Seriously, just pull the trigger and buy one. HORI seems to know what they're doing with their products.

Perfect for my purposes.
I came to Amazon looking for something exactly like this product so I could clear out the old DS games I keep in my old Nakiworld G-Pak carrier to make way for the newer 3DS games, since I finally had an overflow of games and nowhere to keep them anymore. This fits the bill perfectly. While, as previous reviewers have stated, it seems like the plastic hinges and the snap closure could wear and start to come apart over time, I bought this with the intention of using it for long-term storage for games I no longer play very often so that shouldn't be an issue in this situation. The games fit securely into their slots and don't seem like they'd easily dislodge, nothing rubs against their labels, and I had no problems loading them in. (I used it for all regular DS games, no 3DS games.) Just make sure they snap in all the way. I haven't tried to put an SD card in the dedicated slot for that, but it seems like you'd want to be gentle with it as the flap of plastic seems to be in the flimsier side and could bend or break if you push it out too far. This case fits perfectly next to my DSi XL in the HDE carrier I got. So, for me, this ended up being the perfect solution and despite the fact that this case isn't really *perfect* I am rating it five stars. The only improvement I'd really suggest is in the way it's hinged along the spine and the clasp closure to make it more durable.

Terrific for all my games.
It's great. It really is. I don't even know what I can say aside from that, because I'm pretty sure all the other stuff was said by other reviewers already. The case does indeed hold 24 games, and it does the job fantastically as well. The bit of plastic holding the case together does seem like it'll break from wear, but it would take a LOT of repeatedly opening and closing the case to wear it down that significantly. Sticking the games in and getting them out is easy, but it might be a little difficult if you do it the wrong way. There's little arrows on the pages that tell you how to get the games out, so following that should be enough. I'd totally buy another one if I had more games. I really would. They sell the 16-game case at Target and it has the hinge instead, which seems more reliable, but if I'm going to be paying the same price, I might as well get 8 more spaces, you know?

Perfect DS & 3DS Game Case
Hori adds another product to their fantastic line of Nintendo DS & 3DS accessories. The case has 24 slots which are divided into 4 "pages" of 6 spots, but comes with an accessory to store an SD card if desired. The case itself is durable, is a perfect size, and the game cards stay securely in place. The case does come in 3 colours, but that wasn't a determining factor for my purchase. As a gamer that stores my games in a safe place (DS & 3DS in these Hori cases, PS3 games in a DVD binder) while displaying the empty cases I can confidently say I will purchase more of these in the future once my collection of games grow.
