ColorBox Chalk Queue Ink Pad, Misty Meadow

I put this kit out at a baby shower to do some "fingerprint art". The ladies loved it and the results were great. It dried true to the colors and quickly. The final product was beautiful.

The colors on these ink pads are really pretty, but they are only about a dime wide, so most of our stamps don't fit.

The ink pads was almost empty on ink..just a very light light color from no ink..very disappointed..

Love the colorbox inks. They are small, but I like variety so prefer several colors of small inks to one large ink for my money. The shape makes it easy to ink the edges of cards and die cut pieces.

I love the idea of how these stamps are packaged. All in a stack, not taking up a lot of room. Unfortunately, they aren't good quality stamp pads. The actual pad is really squishy so my block gets quite messy. Also, half of them are very dry. It is a pain to get my stamps fully wet. Wouldn't buy them again.

I really liked this ink pad set. They are small which I expected after I read some reviews. In fact, I wound up being pleased with the small size because it gave me much more control over where I wanted to put the ink, especially on stamps using multiple colors. None of them were dry when I received them. They each lasted through at least 80 stamps each, which for the size of the pads I though was pretty good. The colors are very nice and came out well on the brown kraft cardstock I used.

I used these at my daughter's wedding. We did a sign in picture using colored thumbprints that looked like balloons. An artist drew a pic of my daughter and her husband holding strings and the thumbprints were the balloons. The ink dried quickly and did not smear. So cute!

Dries instantly and colors are so pretty! I'd buy this again :) You just wont be able to emboss with this type of ink because it dries so quickly.
