Work together to beat the General! Great family game!
Great game! My son loves Ninjago Lego's and this game is a really fun way to integrate the two as a family. Unlike other games where you try to beat the other players, this game is set up where you actually work together to beat the General (bad guy). Very fun to play and different way to make slight variations and changes. A favorite for family game night!

Great Lego game
Great Lego game. Game needs to be put together, but that is half the fun. My Grandson and I have spent many afternoons playing this game. Very enjoyable. If you are into Legos it is well worth the money.

fun little game
fun little game. the game play itself is nothing really amazing, but pretending you're a ninjago dude with your son while you go around and try to stop mr. evil guy and his minions is definitely fun if your kid is into legos and ninjago.

Great concept
This was, as expected, fun to put together. The genius of this is that it then becomes a game where the good guys try to defeat the bad guys. Rather than competing with each other, the players work together to overcome the evil for es. My grandson loved it, and it was fun playing the game with him.

Pretty Decent Game
My 7 and 9 yo boys love all things ninjago, so this was a Christmas present for Mr. 7 year old. He has liked it and we have enjoyed playing it with him. The rules are pretty fun as they are although I would enjoy it more if there were more strategy involved and not just rolling the die and using the spinner thing. (But there are obviously many kid games have even less freedom of choice: Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, etc. etc.) I love that the rule book gives ideas and suggestions for customizing the game and developing house rules. Obviously anyone can do house rules whenever they want, but I love that they throw it out there to encourage the kids to think about how they might want to play and that they offer ideas to try different things. The game comes in pieces and has instructions to build, which my son enjoyed. One downside is there are LOTS of little pieces, like all things lego, so there's the potential there to lose pieces. But that is the case with many games. Overall, it's a decently fun game.

My 5 year old loves this!
My son received this for Christmas and he absolutely loves this game. We were lucky that someone taught him how to play and he has really done well with the rules and teaching us (I have peeked at the book to make sure that we are somewhat on track). I'm just nervous about losing pieces, but it's nice that the whole gameboard fits into the box and you don't have to take it apart and rebuild it each time you want to play it.

A pretty boring game...
The only good part about this game is my son enjoyed building it. It's a boring and ill conceived game which, after just a couple of days, I see it being boxed up and not being played with much. I'm a little surprised and was mislead by all of the 5 star reviews.

needs more to it, at least visually
Simply, easy game. Could get boring quick. Not much going on visually with the repetitive bland board. kind of fun to build. Fun to play the first few times. Meant to be a teamwork type game. I could see where it could get old quick.
