Very impressive. Better than more expensive welders I have owned.
I am a fabricator with 30 years experience. TIG, MIG, Stick and gas welding. Sold my company and with it all my welding equipment last year. But I still tinker around, and decided I couldn't live without a little MIG welder in my shop. This one has really surprised me - much better than I expected and frankly better than some of the big welders I've had over the years. I love the no nonsense wire feed - very dependable feed. The range of the machine is fantastic, from small tack welds on thin stock to some pretty big welds with good penetration on thick material. Dials for feed and voltage are sensitive, so you can really get it setup just the way you want. Can't say enough good about it. You will not be disappointed. Excellent unit, surprisingly lightweight. This review was written after I have been using this welder for 6 months.

Superb light duty machine
The case is certainly not strong. Don't drop this or it will dent, but in my experience, it will not break. I had several projects in a home remodel and I built them all with this little welder. I replaced a much more expensive 110v Lincoln Electric model. This worked so much better. This is very powerful for the compact size. It makes fairly clean welds. I've built an arbor, a trellis, a fence, a gate, several walls, a grate, support posts, and some brackets and it is still working like new. I did enough welding to go through 6 rolls of wire and a package of tips. This is so light weight it makes it easy to carry, so I even used it while up on a ladder. Highly recommend and definitely beats the light duty Lincoln Electric model I had.

DC welders are the way to go, especially for a beginner.
The torch hose connection point at the metal case should be reinforced to prevent linking.I like how easy it welds, but you still need lots of practice.Needs a better more up to date look. I looks like a mechanics tool box.

Money well spent.
This welder has been very impressive. I have a miller iron horse 220 welder back at the shop. This little portable welder performed very well in comparison. No problem welding 1/4" stock. With a little grinding and a extra pass, you could go up to 3/8 with no problem.

Put my skepticism to rest on the first try
The media could not be loaded. Thoroughly impressed. Have to admit I was very skeptical using the big expensive 220 volt welders for years. Really wanted something super portable that I could run off my 3000 watt generator if I really wanted to. Did tons of research and this one seemed to fit the bill as it’s really the size of a shoe box, and not that much more weight too for that matter. This little guy could blow holes right through this 3mm thick square tubing if turned all the way up.Tested it out by building a little heat exchanger for off grid heat in our toy hauler. If just doing little stuff this is going to be my new go to.I do hope it’s stands the test of time where the wire feed mechanism is all plastic. 🤞

Very light, smooth and quiet
Been a metal fabricator for 40 years. Glad I've lived long enough to experience this lightweight, quiet technology.Really hard to explain what a wonderful piece of equipment this is to have. you can take it up a ladder with you as high as you want, with the shoulder strap, just like strapping on your lunchbox.Technology hasn't finished evolving yet, but I just can't imagine any further improvement on this cool tool. The wonderful thing about gasless (fluxcore) welding, is that you can reduce the heat of the arc by creating a longer distance between the tip and the work, and the flux will still protect the weld puddle - unlike using MIG where the gas can't protect the puddle when the nozzle is far away, or in windy conditions.

doesnt fit titanium 140
Does not work with Titanium Mig 140 torch from hobo frieght. This has what looks like metric threads vs the coiled spring holding on the one for the 150

Excellent and easy to use as for first time welder
Was using welder for a first time and what a nice surprise it's was simple. Have no idea about the quality of my welding, but at least it was easy. And another exciting thing, this welder din't burn out 15 amp extension cord.

Good value for the money
I used in some auto body work. Not top of the line welder, but did a good job overall. I was afraid it would trip my breaker because I don’t have 20A breaker; only 15A, but It went through pretty well with no issues.
