Great little fan for personal use
I've bought several of these fans over the years. I use it at the breakfast table to cool off after exercising or working outside. It would also be very good for a desk or work station. It is relatively silent, moves a good amount of air either in low or high speed, and is very efficient; I use rechargeable batteries, and get about 6-8 hours of use out of one set. Alkaline batteries would probably last longer, but obviously cost more in the long run. I like the fact that it folds up and doesn't take up a lot of room when not in use. As my review title said, it's a personal fan; don't expect it to cool off a room. It works great when it's setting 2-3 feet from you and you enjoy having air moving around you.

Exactly what I needed and more!
This is exactly what I needed while living full-time in my class A RV, where periodically our power may go out in the summer. The 2 options for power is perfect, where you get more power when using the battery than you do when using USB electric, something that turns the 2 speeds into 4 speeds that are pretty quiet white noise sounds. I keep it on my small bedside table in my rv, which fits perfectly, and of course I can take it in my purse, as well.So glad I got this, will update if it fails within a year.

Works as expected
Fan works as expected. Switch for it likes to glide past off to high or low, so more positive feedback would improve it. Fan requires 4 batteries to operate without adapter. Unclear as to whether it is running on battery or adapter when plugged in and batteries are installed too.

Great personal fan, but only lasts a couple years.
I've had several of these, and I'll keep buying them even though they only last a couple years. They run for many hours on batteries - I haven't timed them, but I would say about 16 hours. The fan will also run on a USB charger or a backup battery pack with a USB charger - depending on the size of the battery you can get many days of use.Very quiet and relatively powerful for a personal fan. It's not going to cool down a room, but it works great if you just want a little air and white noise for yourself. For the price they're great, but wish they lasted longer.

Want to love it, but questionable quality.
Over time I've bought 4 of these. I use them for a bit of white noise when traveling (which I do a lot for both business and pleasure), cooling if needed. I have one at my desk at work for use during AC wars and the 'heat' people are winning, sometimes carry one 'in the field' during the summer, and one at home. One was trashed. The ability to use either USB power or AA's is great for car camping, I'll use some Eneloops/Amazon high capacity AA's, or a USB power bank (I'll take several high capacity ones)As some others have mentioned, these are sketchy quality and do have failures. One died after a couple of months and a second just turns slowly now after using it in the field (I don't think I banged it around, I try to be careful with my gear, but it's possible). Two are still going strong after about 10 months as of this writing.Even with the failures, I've found them so handy I'm sure I'll buy another one or two, unless I find something better/cheaper.

Amazing fan! I never leave home without it!
I’m always hot! So when I saw this fan at CVS earlier in the summer I bought it and was so pleasantly surprised when it was quiet and powerful! Runs well even when the batteries are almost drained. I also use an external USB battery for added life.Fan folds perfectly, the USB power cord is a decent length and it’s a powerful little thing! Keeps me cool outside or inside a hot, humid house.Bought this second fan because it was superior to the 5” white Treva battery powered fan.

Perfect for cooling my MacBook, fan runs flush to the table when fully open.
My MacBook Air runs hot when on a google meeting with everyone's cameras on. I prop up my Mac on an iphone case, and then setup this fan fully open (so at a 90 degree angle) and the air easily flows under the Mac to keep it cool. I haven't see another fan that runs flush to the table, this is perfect for getting under the computer, keeps my CPU fan from working too hard.

Do not buy this item as it will only work for a short time and then quit.
This is an excellent personal fan for a desk or office environment. It is quiet. Has two speeds and can be adjusted for height and direction. The materials do seem a bit cheap, but for a $10 purchase I suppose it is appropriate. I have only had it for about a week, so I cannot speak to it's durability; however, for my use it seems like it should for a decent amount of time. If what you need is a personal fan that is quiet for your desk, this is a great choice!Just an update: Two out of the three that were ordered have stopped working for no apparent reason. I have tried using batteries to see if the power source caused the problem, but even batteries do not work.
