Scanpan IQ 10-1/2 by 10-1/2-Inch Grill Pan

Grill pans are usually a mixed blessing - they either cook well and are impossible to clean or cook poorly, and are still impossible to clean. The cast-iron grill pans are well known as high-performers on the cooking side, but even the Le Creuset enameled grill pans sometimes require prolonged soaking. Non-stick theoretically should change the equation, but Teflon-based non-stick shouldn't be used with high, dry heat, and some of the "green" ceramic non-stick coatings are very fragile, and quickly deteriorate after only a handful of uses. On top of that, cast-iron is usually the only option if you use an induction range.The Scanpan IQ grill pan changes everything. It cooks well - good char lines, good flavor, and it cleans up easily. The coating is holding up well after several uses. Even when used with marinated meat - the charred stuff that would normally require prolonged hot soaking on the stove is quickly removed with dish soap and a brush. After cooking a "cowboy" rib-eye (2.5 pound steak), which requires both high-heat sear and oven time, the pan was clean and dry in just a few minutes. This is an expensive pan, but this is a case where spending more will get you more. I'd easily buy it again, and just wish I'd made the jump earlier.Update: Three months later, we've now bought some other Scanpan IQs, and love them all. No degradation in performance, still as slippery as before. On very close inspection, you can see faint appearing scratches in the cooking surfaces, but this has not affected the nonstick quality in the slightest.

Scanpan are great pans. I could wish this was bigger, to grill more veggies, but it is true to advertised size.

I love Scanpan and will never buy another brand again. Great, solid product. The coating on scanpan products never peel or chip. They heat evenly so everything comes out much better.

Used this for the first time last night to make Salmon and PERFECT! I love Scanpan and this one doesn't disappoint. So high quality ... heavy, large grooves that leave those wonderful grill marks. BUY IT!

Better Than previous model I had . Easy to clean and grills meats well

I have an induction cook top and Scanpan is a must, non stick, durable and clean design. Griddle a nice compliment and can be used as panini maker.

On my third frying pan. used since 2011. replace din 2014, just replaced again now in 2018. so I expect to replace every 4 years or so. WIll not buy anything else though. for non-stick this is it. Just ordered this to add to frying pan. Expect the same great performance.

I had a hard time finding a quality grill pan for my induction cooktop. This pan fits the bill. We no longer eat much meat but do like to have the appetizing grill marks on foods such as quesadillas, sandwiches, tofu slices, asparagus spears, etc. Pan is very easily cleaned and needs very little fat to do its job. I just spray on a bit of oil on the item to be grilled. I also bought a cast iron press to use on sandwiches so this pan doubles as a panini maker.

Absolutely the best grill pan I have ever owned!!!! I love it. The quality simply superb.

This is my third Scanpan grill. I have to get this new one because my kitchen is upgraded to induction stove.

Really quick with getting to me -its so much better than my old pan -its light and the non sick surface=ce is the best.

Die Pfanne stand bei uns schon lange auf der Wunschliste und als sie kam, stellten wir fest, dass nirgendwo ein Deckel in der Größe ( ungewöhnliche 27“) zu bekommen ist. Gängig ist 24, 26“. Daher ging die Pfanne zurück und gekauft wurde eine gleich mit Deckel.
