I've got a fair amount of experience with IP cameras, and this is by far the worst I've encountered. I took a chance on it based on a YouTuber's glowing recommendation of Annke cameras, but this particular model wasn't one he mentioned. Maybe their other cameras are better (I have a much nicer Annke model on its way) but, please, don't waste your money on this thing.Things that went right:- I was able to log in and update the firmware to the latest version- The factory reset worked. Surprisingly, the camera spoke to me through its speaker to tell me the factory reset worked and that the camera was rebooting.Things that went wrong:- Attempting to set a static IP address caused the camera to drop off the network completely, requiring a factory reset.- Attempting to find the reset procedure with Google turned up nothing specific to this camera, so I just held down the reset button and hoped something would happen.- Video playback in Firefox is broken on Linux. You click the big "Play" button, you get a black screen- The entire web interface is completely broken in Chrome on Linux. The page won't even load.- Chrome on Windows does load the interface, but also doesn't play video.- Firefox on Windows prompts me to install some plugin to play video, which it's downloading from a URL with a bare IP address. Uh, no thanks!- The Edge browser in Windows gives the same black screen as Chrome, and Firefox on Linux.- I attempted to set up this camera with TinyCam Pro, an Android app I use with every other camera I own. It's not supported, even as a generic camera. Because...- RTSP streaming isn't supported! Every IP camera I've dealt with in the past has had this capability. The Annke Nova J does not. I found a message on their support site that said so explicitly.I did not try their app, because I have no interest in cameras that only work with proprietary apps. And I don't trust most apps to not phone home and hand over a bunch of my personal data to God-knows-who. If this camera can't work with standard software and protocols, it's worth nothing to me. I knew I was taking a chance buying a camera that was this cheap, and I've dealt with cheap, low-quality IP cameras before, but this one absolutely takes the prize for being the worst one I've encountered yet. Please don't waste your money like I did.

I watched a couple review videos, they had issues connecting to WiFi I didn’t think I’d have the same problem but did. Be warned may have WiFi issues!

This was a very good purchase. I used it to confirm what critters were wreaking havoc up in my attic. Finally saw the raccoon who was the culprit and was able to set traps, enabling us to release the hideous creature back into the wild. The camera had a pretty slow response when I need it to move to span the attic, but it did OK. It also seemed to fade in and out of good WiFi connection but it worked well enough, especially for no more expensive that it was. No regrets at all. The picture quality was stunning.

I have one of these cameras for my sons room as a baby monitor. I’ve had it for two years. The quality is wonderful but it only displays a picture half of the time. Since I already had the program I purchased another one for my new daughter. I could not get the second camera to even hook up to my Wi-Fi. I purchased one and it didn’t work. I returned it and purchased another thinking it was a item default. I could not get the second one to hook up either. I’ve missed the return window and now I’m stuck with a camera that does not work.

It is hard to setup. The WiFi connection is awful. Terrible instructions. Then on top of it all, I don’t like doing reviews and this company just keeps pestering me to leave one. Well that was a mistake on their part. I’ll bet it doesn’t get posted.

I bought this camera for my toddler daughter when I plan to have her sleep in her room so I can watch her anytime and get alert when there is motion. It works as described and picture quality is great. I put this in living room while I’m away from home for holiday family reunion. Giving me peace of mind when I’m away from home.

this is an easy to install camera, easy to connect. it gives me a clear view of the whole kitchen. every time I go out, I always forget whether I have turned off the stove or not, and I always need to go home to check. right now I just use my phone that can check it is safety.

It's a great little camera. I love that it can move and pan and tilt. The auto track works but it could use some improvement. Overall i would recommend. You can view from anywhere you have internet access.
