LOVE These Fins!!! Exactly Right in Every Way for Training, Laps + Just For Fun!
LOVE 'em! I wear Women's size 9 + have wide feet. So i ordered the Fin size 6-7, according to their Sizing chart info. They fit PERFECTLY. I pull 'em on once I'm in the pool + they go on a wet foot easily. They fit snug enough + are sufficiently soft on the skin that I don't feel any need for a swim sock or liner, yet not so snug that they rub uncomfortably or cause a blister. Fins are just the right stiffness/flexibility ratio + a short fin length means they are quicker, more responsive than longer styles. The 'flare' of the fin blade delivers plenty of power to your kick yet is not so wide as to catch on each other. Fantastic for working your legs + core. Provides much greater intensity work-out in half the time!! And my mermaid fun swims are great!

Do a fine job; good price
I ordered a 4-5 as recommended by other commenters. I wear an 8.5 women's (regular width) in shoes...and these are very snug. In fact, sometimes when my left foot is swollen, I really have to pull to get them on (be sure they are wet and your feet are wet before you put them on). I prefer this type of heel as opposed to the open heel with the strap. I've had them for a month and swim usually two miles four-to-five times a week, so they've held up well.Next time I buy flippers, however, I'd like them to be a little bit longer (just so I could swim faster). I'd also probably get some like the gym used to have until some ass stole all of them in my size (instead of straight across on the front, they have a semi-circular cut-out so they don't splash as much water).

Excellent quality training fins
I've been using these fins for lap swimming for over a year and a half. I swim about 2 - 3 miles a week using these just part of the time as I rotate equipment and technique. I continue to love them. They aren't designed for speed but are for training. I can do flip turns and push off of the wall with them on. They are comfortable and secure. They show no sign of wearing out but have slightly discolored over time due to chlorine. I used to rinse them off but no longer do.I wear about a size 8 1/2 women's shoe or a size 40 European size. My feet are a normal width...the old standard of normal. Shoes today tend to be made wider for the expanding size of the American population.

BeWARE the size chart is incorrect if your a MEN's 13.
Be aware the size chart has an error. The 13-1 (32-33) should be at the top of the chart rather than following the 11-12 (46-47). The size in (***) is the europe size so the 13-1 is for a boys. So i wanted an extra 3 days for the item to discover that my foot is larger than the entire FIN. Sending back and not exchanging since there is not a size available for me.

Great for workout, travel and snorkeling.
Bought a pair for my swim work outs. They fit perfect, I purchased a size 2/3 for my size 5.5 women's foot and they fit great. Snug. These are designed to fit your foot like an enclosed slipper, and with my different sized feet, I never felt them wiggle or act like they were going to fall off. The small size of the fin itself gave me pause, but they give a FANTASTIC workout. I had larger fins, snorkeling type, and they did not give me the workout these did due to their size/length(bigger isn't better?). The size allows for optimal resistance without too much that would interfere with necessary movement. Great size for traveling as well, I have packed snorkel equipment before. Thinking of getting another pair I love them so much.

Too Wide.
I gave these a 3 because they seem like well made fins. My son loves the aqua sphere goggles, so when he saw these he wanted them for swim team practice. Unfortunately the run really wide. My son wears size 5 in most shoes and sometimes a 4.5 depending on the shoe. He put these on, wiggled his feet outside the water and one went flying right off. He did it again and this time the both came off. He does not have skinny feet by any means and the length seemed perfect for his feet size, but they were so wide. He told me they do not fit snug like his other fins. Maybe these should be labeled for wide feet? He was sad, they are pretty cool looking.

Aqua Sphere Microfin HP vs US Divers Trek
I purchased these to replace some US Divers Trek model I usually take on snorkeling trips. These short fins are nice to pack on trips since I usually only take a carry-on on my trips to the Caribbean (Jamaica). The US Divers Trek are nicer fins and built very similar to a "DIVERS" fin only shorter in length but even the largest US Divers were way too narrow and tight. The US Divers Large model indicates 10-13. I wear a 11-1/2 and can hardly get my foot in them. Too bad, they are made nice. I checked for other recommended & reviewed shorty fins and the Aqua Sphere is one of the highest recommended. Be advised that the Aqua Sphere Microfin HP actually run large so purchase a smaller model than your feet. I had to return my first pair (an easy exchange made with Amazon). My 11-1/2 feet actually would fall out of the 11-12 Aqua Sphere model but fit very comfortable in the 9-1/2 - 10-1/2 model. The US Divers are made in China and the Aqua Sphere are made in Italy, maybe that's why the sizes run so different. If you have smaller feet get the US Divers, If you have feet over size 10, get the Aqua Sphere since the US Divers will NOT fit.

Flipper be gibber
I had a pair of Aquasphere fins that I really liked. They were adjustable and had an open heal design. Then the toe of the flipper cracked and they began to be uncomfortable. I wasn’t sure whether I would like these with the closed heal. They are a bit longer than what I had, but they are actually quite comfy. I would buy them again.
