I had tried La Roche Posay's Vitamin C serum in the past and not been terribly impressed, but this new formulation is amazing! First off, it does effectively control oil in my T-Zone, which is impressive on its own. I've found that it leaves my skin looking noticably brighter and truly "glowy"; it absorbs quickly, without leaving a sticky or tacky residue, and my skin feels soft, nourished, and looking incredibly radiant.Vitamin C is notoriously unstable, so I long ago got into the habit of storing my vitamin C serums in the refrigerator. They claim that this one is shelf stable when kept in a dark cupboard, but I've not dared to take the chance, and so far mine has remained perfectly clear. The consistency is that of a slightly thickened fluid--pretty standard for serums--but it sinks in beautifully, and a little goes a long way.I've been using this every morning for a few weeks now and am beyond impressed. I need a little more time to be sure and don't want to jinx it, but this is on track to replace my previous ( and profoundly more expensive) favourite. There is a generous amount of product in the bottle and it is offered at an excellent price for the quality.Highly Recommended!

This is a high-quality product with a great starter concentration for introducing vitamin C into your skincare routine. I also think it’s a solid option for those who have used vitamin C for a while. Once you get into 20% concentrations, there’s a higher potential for irritation—especially for sensitive skin.After using this, I feel like my skin looks a bit brighter and has more of a glow than before. Overall, an excellent and affordable ascorbic acid serum!

I have skin that tends toward dry, but get oily in the nose and chin area, especially in the summer. This serum has a smooth texture that absorbs well and doesn't leave any greasiness or that dried-on gel look/feel. It does have a fragrance, but it does not linger after absorption/drying.It does seem to control the oil/shine well, and I have not experienced any irritation or dryness. This one is sting-free for me.The recommended application is 4 drops for the whole face, so I use fewer since I am targeting specific areas. Even if I did use the full 4 drops, this bottle would last quite a while.

I got this for a member of my household who has been struggling with some skin texture issues. She has combination skin and can break out on her cheeks. She has had sensitivity issues caused by more harsh products, too. I knew this was a reputable brand and thought it would be a good fit for her.So far, she is using it each day and has seen a lot of improvement. It's not an immediate miracle worker, but it is helping to control oil and shine, while also gradually working on her skin texture. I think with continued use, she will see a lot of good results from it. She has not experienced any sensitivity from it and she has not had problems layering it with the rest of her routine.Overall, while I would not recommend this for people with dry skin like i had, it seems to be ideal for people with an oilier or combination complexion.

This is the best vitamin c serum I've ever used. The consistency and the scent are amazing and my skin is noticeably brighter after using it.

It doesn't smell bad, but the added fragrance is surprisingly noticeable and long lasting. This vitamin C feels lighter than others that almost remind me of dyes and tend to feel tacky. This absorbs and feels dry very quickly, so I can see why it would work for oily skin. I have dry skin, so the non oil control option would have been better for me if it had been an option. It is brightening. The bottle was boxed but not sealed.
