Once we figured out all the kinks this worked great. Instructions were written by someone whose first language is not English so we had to figure out several things by ourselves. After locking the top down you must push the seal and vacuum button TWICE for the vacuum to start. Once that happens you MUST push down on the center of the unit or the vacuum will continue to pull forever with no sealing done. Since there is no indication of how long this should take in the instructions you wait. Once we figured that you must push the middle down it took only seconds to complete. Instructions to “toogle” the vacuum release also misleading, push down would have been the appropriate word. Glad I read reviews on several of these before buying or I would have thought that it was defective out of the box when really it was just poor instructions.

The machine will seal, but the vacuum is non existent. Maybe they think you should suck out the air???? If you cannot depend upon the product to do what they advertise either stop making it or get your quality control up to speed. Thanks for nothing.

This vacuum sealer is pretty good. I’ve previously used the Ziploc brand sealers, and although this one is lighter and more compact, it seems to work just as well.

Should have known better than to expect quality at this price. It's quiet but won't properly seal or pull a vacuum for 11" wide bags or rolls. No separate wet or dry vacuum mode. Left pockets of air in everything I attempted to bag. Included bags were lower quality than I thought could exist. Bags stuck to the heating element after sealing. It's small, light, and quiet but I cannot recommend it.

This is a decent food sealer but often times I do have to perform a "reseal" because it does not vacuum seal the bag every time. When that happens, I trim off the top of the bag that has become sealed, and perform the vacuum again re-using the same bag. It's worth the price though. Good enough for this one person household.

I really like this little vacuum sealer. It took a little while to get use to it and how it works but after that it does a great gob. I will be using it to seal merchandise into a vacuum sealed bag to put in store to hang from a rod. This prevents easy theft of items in the bag. I also use it to freeze food and that also works well. I recommend it to anyone, especially if you are a first timer with type of technology. Minimal investment and it WORKS!!

Bought it for my parents. So they were the ones who used it. They had a little trouble with the tiny instructions and were unfamiliar with how one of these worked. But after some trial and error, they really love it and we all look forward to not having to deal with freezer burn in the future.

I purchased this food vacuum sealer for my daughter when her old one stopped working. She used it once right after she got it. She mentioned the vacuum part didn't seem to work well. She forgot about it until she tried it out again today. It does seal the openings well but the vacuum part doesn't work as well as the old one did. It leaves places where the vacuum didn't work. Air Spaces around roasts or steaks is not exactly what you expect or want when sealing expensive meat. We don't buy a lot of meat to seal unless it's on sale so we aren't pulling it out of the freezer daily. I purchased the warranty that came with it but I guess it's useless too as the return of this sealer expired at the end of January.If you purchase this sealer, make sure you test it out a lot before the 30 day return day is over.
