How long does it take to build?

My kids took about 3 -4 hours. Spread out in 2 days. (Ages, 14,12,9 and 5)

Is it possible to dismantle and rebuild?

No! It is not meant to dismantle and rebuild. It will actually likely fall apart and need to be thrown out in about a year. However, that's even better for me! The kiddos get to use their problem solving skills, and have a great time learning about the significance and location of what they're building. Then, they get the pride of displaying it for a while. Then, when they loose interest in it and move on.....take some pictures of it.... and chuck it! Then move on to the next! I would stay away from the ones with LED lights though, unless you don't mind paying al little extra for something you're going to trow out in a year or so. We bought a couple just for effect but don't get those very often. I hope that helps! Still totally worth it in my opinion! They're actually pretty well made and educational! Also, you can take pictures of them and throw them out so they don't clutter your house! If you prefer to keep....maybe glue them with special glue or something! Have fun!
