300ml Essential Oil Diffuser: Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser Quiet Auto Shut-Off, 4 Timer Settings(1H 3H 6H ON) & 7-Color Night Light Humidifier for Yoga Bedroom Living Room Office

I purchased this URPOWER Essential Oil Diffuser along with another of the same brand, but a smaller size and capacity. This diffuser will take up to 300 milliliters of essential oil and water mix. The unit has 4 settings for operation. 60 minutes,180 minutes, 360 minutes and ON. So, you can set the unit to work whichever amount of time best suits your needs, or if you prefer, you can set it to ON and it will run until there is no more solution left, When it will turn off automatically. The unit also uses four bright LED's that give the whole case a soft glow in various colors. There are two separate control buttons. One controls the time and the other controls the light. By default the diffuser will start at 60 minutes and cycle through all the LED colors. I have discovered that some colors seem to work better with different essential oils or moods. When the color cycles around to what you want, push the "Light" button again, and it will remain that color of light. The diffuser is very quiet while it is running. All you hear is a soft hum, and occasionally it will gurgle just a little. (I don't know why) Which essential oils you use and whether you blend them or not is up to you. Each oil generates its own feelings in you according that oils properties. Here are a few things I have discovered that might help you enjoy your diffuser. The oil and water mixture seems to be most effective (and you can smell it better) if the mix is fresh. I have tried making up twice as much as I needed, thinking that I could simply turn it on the next time I wanted to diffuse some oil. This doesn't work very well. The oil I was using was Lavender. It is very strong and easily smelled. When the mixture had sat for a day inside the diffuser it was not as strong smelling and actually smelled a bit acrid. Mix up what you think you will use in one go, you will be pleased with the results. The essential oils, two things, buy pure, medical grade, organic, concentrated oils. Anything that contains chemicals used to extract the plants natural oils; definitely disappointing, as you will smell the chemical and the desired effects of using that oil are diminished. Secondly, be sure to clean the unit between uses with clean water and liquid dish soap. The oil WILL stick to the inside edges and the bottom of the tank. Pretty soon your oils start to mix and again, the experience is less satisfying. I like to dilute DAWN dish soap in a spray bottle, keep it under the sink, spray a few good sprays into the tank, rub around with a cloth or sponge, rinse, drain and dry. Be sure to pay attention to the "Drain Side" with the arrow pointing to the top. Pour the water out of that side! If you pour the water out the other side it may enter the "Air Outlet," go into the motor and that's it, ruins the unit. I learned that the hard way! You can also run clear water through the unit as a way to clean out the area where the water is atomized if you want to. URPOWER recommends that you do this BEFORE the first use anyway. This diffuser comes with a great little plastic mixing cup with markings from 20 ml. to 150 ml. Works great for mixing up the exactamount of oil/water blend that you need. The AC adapter plugs into the bottom of the unit. When you are placing the "cap" over the tank and diffuser, match the URPOWER logo and the times up. Let the "cap" fall naturally to the bottom unit and turn slightly clockwise. When you hear the click, it's firmly in place. If the "cap" isn't on tight the unit won't work, so if the plug and everything seems ok, try re-attaching the "cap." That's it! I have gotten many months now of flawless use from this diffuser. Amazon chose it as "the best" in its own tests. That's why I purchased it. Now after using it I can definitely recommed this diffuser! Thanks for reading my review. Good Luck and have fun!

Great Product bought a second one I like it so much.

I purchased this diffuser a month ago and have been using it every day since it arrived. We use it in our bathroom (read my review under Clear the Air Essential Oil Blend for the how and why) and it is turned on for one hour a few times a day. So far, it's worked perfectly. A 100 ml diffuser by the same company was DOA when it arrived and returned immediately. Honestly, I didn't realize it was the same company at the time I ordered this or I would have had second thoughts. Pros: 1. Very quiet, at least to these middle-aged ears. I can't hear any fan noise and I have to look for the mist to know that it's on. I'm never in the room when it turns itself off, so I can't attest to a beep when it shuts off, although it wouldn't surprise me since it beeps at every other change of status. 2. Puts out a healthy amount of mist and diffuses essential oils really well. 3. So far it has been reliable, but it's still early days. Even so, it's been turned on and off at least 100 times since purchase. 4. The cord is fairly long so it reaches from the far side of the counter to the sink for refills. Cons: 1. The outlet is fixed at the back of the unit. So to avoid having it pointed at the mirror or the electrical outlet, the unit is rotated so the outlet points off the bathroom counter, which places the controls facing the mirror where we can't see them. So there's a bit of jockeying the unit around every time we turn it on. I'd prefer a more flexible outlet. There's a 500 ml diffuser by a different company that apparently has a free-floating top so you can direct the flow anywhere you want. 2. The power cord is also in a fixed position and comes off the back right side, which in its turned-around position hangs in front of a vanity drawer. A cord management command strip holds it up and away from the drawer. This probably won't be a problem for most people. The cord plugs in the bottom and presses into a channel on one side, so plugging and unplugging the unit won't be effortless especially when full, which can be an issue if the unit isn't placed near a sink because.... 3. The refill cup provided will only fill the unit half way, which would be a hassle if I didn't have mine near a sink. I suppose it's nice they included one but it's kind of useless unless you don't mind multiple trips to the sink. I plan to buy another one for the bedroom and I'll just use a big drinking glass to refill. 300 ml equals just over 10 ounces. 4. The light doesn't turn off when the mist stops. Some people might not find this a con but if, for some reason, you don't happen to check on it, it could go for days. We don't use the light function now but the first time my husband used the unit, he turned on both the light and the mist. I later went into the bathroom to find what looked like a disco on Ambien. Miscellaneous: Another reviewer complained about the top being difficult to put on. It's actually quite easy if you know the trick. You can see in the picture two arrows to the right of the controls, one on the top and one on the base. When you lower the top onto the base, the arrows should be no more than an inch or so apart. Lightly twist the top back and forth a bit until it drops down flush with the base and then rotate so the arrows line up. I usually have to hold the base when doing this final rotation. The moisture makes the top stick a little bit. If you're meeting a lot of resistance or it's getting stuck, then the arrows were too far apart when you first lowered the top. I like this diffuser and plan to buy another. I dropped a star for the lack of flexibility in both the mist outlet and the power cord in my situation.

It's a awesome diffuser, thick stream of mist and it shoots the mist higher than my brand name one. Love the colours on it. I bought this in 2017, it is now 2023 and this diffuser is going stronger than ever… I’ve used it so much the letters and words are worn off of it. Every other brand name diffuser has cratered. This one lasts the whole night and never has to be tempermantly cleaned like the others. Don’t waste your money on other types… this is the ultimate!! The only down side.. when I bought it in 2017, it was probably $40, now it’s a lot more.. but so worth the money. So little maintenance, and lasts for so long, and the performance has never changed in the 6 years, running every night, all through the night.

Feels cheep. Flimsy construction and very noisy during operation. Very disappointed.

No issues with this unit at all! Easy to fill and easy to use. The lid isn’t as bad as others are reporting, it can be removed and put back on easily without having to pick the whole thing up. Love the different time settings and it puts out a lot of vapor.
