Bolts right in. Strong and sturdy. Recommend replacing the old hood struts first before installing this, you’ll need the extra lift past what this allows when fully bolted down.

Great just what I need. I made a mistake that damge my original. Shipping was quick and cheaper then any other website oit there.

I'm writing this because there weren't any other reviews on this product. If you're looking for a new hood support for your 1986 corvette this will be a perfect fit. I paired this with some new support shocks and the hood is good as new.

It is a great product except I had to go get hardware from Lowe's since my Vette was missing the original bolts.

Perfect fit and easy bolt on fix. Works great.

The rivet that holds it together is pressed so tight it won't lock into place to keep hood from falling.
