These work great for cleaning smelt. Very sharp, and the tip is small enough to fit in the fish’s vent. Thumb hole could be a little bigger.

WE used these for squid dissection and they were plenty sharp and cleaned up well. Good value. Better than I had expected. Could easily use them for middle or high school students.

Good finish, cut clean, but there is slight "graininess" on cutting due to rough finish on the cutting face. But, for $2 a scissor, this is an excellent value.

If you're a 5 year old doctor/nurse with tiny fingers you might be able to use these. They are very stiff too. Would be a chore to use them for any length of time. Look elsewhere like on Fisher Scientific for something in the "professional" range...you won't find anything like that here.

Scissors came in a single package individually wrapped. In trimming hair, they tend to pull instead of cleaning cutting. They work OK but could be better.

My students used them to dissect chicken wings and they worked great.
