Fun and useful new toy
So, my dietitian has been bugging me to stop drinking diet soda. I'm still not entirely convinced by the research but it was as good an excuse as any for a new toy. I've had it for just over a week and am very impressed. I don't like plastic water bottles. This is a very nice glass bottle. It's not designed to work in cup holders which is a small annoyance. I don't drive very much but, when I do, it's usually long distances. The directions say you can also use other bottles of an appropriate size and weight. The app has worked perfectly. The sensor has worked perfectly. The data has been syncing to Apple Health perfectly. And, perhaps more to the point, I'm drinking more water.I had reason to contact customer service over a small issue unrelated to the actual functioning of the bottle and they were very responsive.

The only smart water bottle (out of 4) I've liked
After reading all the reviews I could on smart water bottles, I purchased these:H2OPal: I like it. I've been using it for 3-4 months now as my primary bottle. You can even put a different (larger) bottle in it if you want. Note: The Android app is in beta. The iPhone app works well, but for 1 or 2 annoying limitations (you have to go to bed by 11pm or else I'm not sure how it measures). I'd give this 4.5 stars, but since it's the _only_ bottle I've liked, I'm bumping it to 5 stars.MyHydrate: Great for $40, but the chiming got annoying. I used it for 2 days, then tossed it.HydraCoach: One of the first on the market -- I bought it 7-8 years ago. I didn't use it much because you have to such the water through a straw.HydrateSpark: Bought it, and they charged my credit card immediately. But then they made me wait so long for it that I would've lost the ability to dispute the charge, so I cancelled the order. I have no idea how good it is. Just read the fine print on when they'll actually be shipping it.

Great idea, but it wasn't ready for the Android
I bought this so that it would track my water intake. Great idea, but it wasn't ready for the Android. The rubber around the top grows mildew and is very hard to clean without taking the rubber completely off which is a hassle. The bottom kept popping off and dropping to the ground. This is the part with the battery and the ability to weigh your intake. Wish it worked better. It is an expensive water bottle to not work as expected.

Good but Not Ready for Prime Time Yet.
I would actually give it 3.5 stars. Let's face it, it's pretty cool to have a bottle track your water consumption as you drink and not after you've finished the whole bottle as some do. The software needs some work though. It shows the bottle still has water even when it's empty. I have to close and open the app to get it to update sometimes, or leave the app open. There are long delays in getting help from the support staff. In short, I feel like the product is still in development. I like the concept but the execution is not where it needs to be to warrant a true 4 or 5 stars yet.

Malfunction upon arrival
Bluetooth malfunction on arrival. Pretty poor construction for the price. It is essentially a bottle with bluetooth+weight sensor, yet it fails to be anything other than a bottle. Water tracking via smart bottle is not available at the moment.

Cap comes apart
I like this water bottle but it is WAY over priced for the quality. I wanted to love it but don’t. The cap to the water bottle is hard to get off because the silver cover and plastic inside has come apart as in the glue so when I twist the cap the silver piece turns but not the inside of the cap so it is extremely hard to get off. I like the fact the splayed bottle is glass as that is way better than plastic. I also think the app is very Acurate although I wish the app would make noise to remind me to drink water. I was hoping this water bottle would have helped with my intake of water but it has not at all unfortunately

Make this your first hydration tracker and it will also be your last!
I've tried several hydration trackers and unfortunately tried this one last because I thought it looked cheesy and cheap, but after the others I tried ended up either being completely unreliable or just stopped working I decided to give this one a shot based on the good reviews. Well, it's definitely the best hydration tracker I've used. It's reliable, accurate, and despite looking cheesy and cheap in the pictures it's actually very well made and durable! But the thing I like most about it that I didn't know prior to the purchase is that the tracking part of it on the bottom can detach from the bottle and fit onto any other bottle of your choice with a 3" diameter bottom, so if you don't like the bottle it comes with or want one with a higher water capacity just find one with a 3" diameter and it'll fit. I went with the following Nalgene Tritan and it works great!!!https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001NCDE6G/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1I definitely recommend this hydration tracker to anyone wanting to track your daily water intake. Don't make the same mistake I did by trying other hydration trackers on the market, this is the best out there and you won't be sorry. Make this your first hydration tracker and it will also be your last, don't waste your money on anything else!
