This heated vest is excellent as it has three different heat settings. Use with a portable power pack with 5V2.0A. When you connect your power pack, press and hold the power button on the vest and it lights up red first which is the hottest setting and then after about 5 minutes it cools down to blue which is medium heat and you can then scroll through the settings from green (lowest setting) to red. The more mAH in the power packs, then the longer they will last. The one I use is 5V 2.0A 5200mAh and this lasts about 2.5 - 3 hours.

Looks good got it for my wife for Christmas the only bad thing is I think the size might be to small went xl like she asked so she can wear a jumper underneath but it's looking like it might be a struggle to late to send back to change will update when she tries thouUpdate:had a problem with the body warmer emailed them and sent a replacement within 2days now that's what you call exceptional customer service thanks

I bought ready for winter, so have not used properly yet. But, it works pretty well in the frosty weather we have had so far. I took other reviewers advise & went up one size and achieved a comfortable fit.

The jacket I ordered is fine. I like that it has a reflective lining, you can actually feel your own body heat being reflected back without the heating elements turned on. The outer shell is a quilted nylon type material. Won't win any fashion awards, but it's designed for functionality rather than looks. The heat pads are effective, especially around the collar and, as it zips up tight around the neck it really does keep the cold out. I work a lot outside and it's great to just press the button on the chest and start feeling the benefit after a minute or two. My one major gripe is not actually with this product: I ordered 2 more jackets for family members, using the re-order function in Amazon. The two subsequent jackets were completely diffetent from the first one I had ordered. The outer material was just a single layer of some sort of woven fabric, no quilting or padding, which drastically reduced its insulation qualities. My wife and I tried it with the heat pads and the heat was barely discernible. More worryingly both of us got, what felt like, a strong static shock from the jacket, or was it some sort of electrical fault with the heating elements. The quality of both these re-ordered jackets was appalling. Badly made, no insulation, no discernible heat and a potential electrcal fault!! If you order this and get the nylon quilted type jacket I think you'll find it very comfortable and a real benefit. If you get the woven, unpadded type jacket send it straight back and avoid those nasty electric shocks!!!

So I have bought this freefa Heated jacket and although the idea is great and I have a 30000mah power pack which works wonderfully I have a couple of issues with it.Firstly the switch for the on/off is intermittently functioning. When I want to turn on the jacket I press and hold for 3 seconds and it "should" turn on. Often I have to do this a few times and even unplug the power bank and replug it and try again. Along with this I often see a quick flash of red on the power display (on / off switch) indicating my pressing and holding but it goes off again almost like I've unplugged the power bank as seen in the video. This makes it frustrating when I just need a quick heat when I'm about to get out of a warm works van into the cold air. I don't want to be taking the time to mess around with the power pack when I'm working hence the 30000mah to last the day.Secondly the sewing along the seems are very poorly done resulting in the jacket feeling like it's going to just fall apart.

Good sizes and zipped pockets for power pack. Works well.

The jacket that originally arrived only partially heated up and had a very flimsy zip. I contacted the seller who replaced it instantly and I have to say I’m really pleasantly impressed. The replacement has a sturdy zip and the jacket heats all over. Even when it’s off it’s still really warm. I went out for a walk this morning down the coast wearing only a jumper and this jacket. Everyone else was wearing the normal winter coats but I was so warm I had to open the zip and that was without the heater on. I’ve had it for about a month now and wear it nonstop. My work office is always freezing so this is great to keep me warm on the cold mornings and I know it’s going to be the perfect garment for when I’m out fishing. I bought a 20000ah power pack for this which is a bit big for the pocket but lasts a really long time. Great jacket- thoroughly recommend.

Didn't work but no problem sending it back for a refund. Re-ordered a replacement. It works fine. The neck warmth is superb but the heated area on the back is much smaller than is implied from the illustration and is disappointing. As other reviews note, go for one that is one or two sizes larger than you think you need. Reasonable value for the price and gloves are good.
