Makes quick work of an otherwise daunting task
A great tool. It saved us hours of work while tearing up four layers of flooring to unveil the original hardwood floors. A must have for do-it-yourself flooring projects!

Three Stars
edges are great, but getting close to corners is a problem.

I think the saw works really well and it seems ...
I think the saw works really well and it seems to be a well built tool. I wish that you could change the depth, maybe you can and I just haven't figured out how. It is set to 3/4" depth cut. I would give it a 5 star if I could change the depth to 1/2, 3/8 1/4,1/8 as well. The directions were not written clearly so if anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

Died the First day on the Job.
After 12 Linear Feet of cutting 3/4" hardwood under kitchen cabinet toe kicks, the trigger mechanism lost operation and became dead in the water. This was very disappointing as the instructions manual states that the clutch may stop working after 500 disengagements. 12 linear feet of use does not add up to 500 clutch engagements. I advise not to spend $400 on this tool.

Worth the cost.
Was hard to find a saw that would cut close to walls when we replaced the floor in our lake house. This saw cut the time and effort significantly and allowed us to replace the old particle board floor with plywood right up to the walls. Well worth the cost.

Works good but cannot get to inside corners
Got to remove old tile from kitchen without removing cabinets. Works good but cannot get to inside corners. Ended up having to break old tile out of those corners. Let it cool off or you will be replacing the blade quite quickly.
