Haven't used yet, but have had Crayola brand sidewalk chalk in the past with very satisfactory results. With the pandemic, wasn't much available online, most products were out of stock, but Crayola had a few available and I got them promptly, which were needed for the grandchildren to complete a virtual spirit week project for school.

soft chalk?
One broke in half when trying to remove it from packaging. They feel kinda soft, not hard like regular chalk.
