My son and daughter in law showed this to me and i just had to have it. I have a solid security safe and it gets a damp smell to it. This wonderful security bag does not and as a bonus it is big enough to hold letter size papers very nicely and with extra room. Was disappointed that when went to buy they were out of stock and not sure when would get back in. But when they did I ordered 2 . One for me and one for my elderly mom for her important papers. I even received the bag 2 weeks sooner than expected. Another bonus for me is it’s developed by firefighters which is awesome. Which was also a selling point for my son and daughter in law. All around very please with the service and quality of my security bag. Diffently worth every cent I paid.

I purchased this document bag to hold all those life documents you can’t lose. I like it because it is just one big bag. No little compartments or organizing features. So it holds a large binder as well as many envelopes. I hope I never have to find out if it is really waterproof and fireproof! But for now, I feel like all my important documents are together in one place. The bag is very sturdy—I can pick it up by the handle and the Velcro closure does not loosen. Highly recommend.

I really appreciate the roominess of this document holder. I was able to include all of the family's important papers along with home/car insurance documents and such. I hope that I will never have to put this document protector to the test (I pray that I never have a house fire or flood). I can say that it does seem to be well designed/made, nonetheless. (It zips tightly with a flap that covers the zip.) I did put the documents in their own individual plastic zip bags as extra protection before placing them in the document holder. I hope that this info helps!

When used alone or in conjunction with several of their smaller file holders, this bag is perfect for our critically important papers. Living on an island off the SW coast of FL, the importance of being ready to "bug out" either before or after major hurricane hits is critical. Time to pack and space are both critical elements. This document bag hold all of our critically important papers in a safe, water proof container that can be loaded quickly from the filing cabinet and tossed into the "bug out" bag before it is secured. Heavy an bulky document containers simply do not work well when you are in the "bug out" mode. You need something that is lightweight, sturdy, waterproof and not bulky. This document bag meets all of those requirements nicely and at a decent price. Several of our friends have seen them and ordered them as well.

With the recent devastating bushfires here in Australia, I felt compelled to give my important documents and items more protection against fire or water. I looked at many fireproof document bags and settled on this Alorva bag for a number of reasons. 1. It is designed by firefighters - this is huge for me. The video on the page shows the founders actually testing the bag in a house fire drill. This gave me immense confidence that my papers will be protected. 2. It has reflective tape on the bag to help with visibility at night if we needed to leave quickly. 3. It is large to help me protect all of my papers and important valuables. I am very happy with the quality of this bag and it comes with instructions on the best place to store this bag in your home to maximise protection. Firefighters know a thing or two about fires and emergencies, so I could not ignore this bag when it comes to protecting my documents and things.

This is actually an edit to my first review. I love this bag. I likely overfilled this big boy and after 3 months of daily zippering and 2 cross-country moves the zipper failed when the seam broke. I wrote a review with the pictures and honestly forgot about it. The company tracked me down via LinkedIn to get me a free replacement because it was not up to their standards. The company went above and beyond to make this right. I waited to edit my review to test the replacement which is still in perfect shape. I highly recommend this product. The functionality, high visibility, high quality of the product with exemplary service of the company truly blew me away. Even with a little blow torch this big boy protected my documents. The quality for this price point is remarkable.

Excellent customer services for this product, I contacted Alvora last week as I want to buy another one of these fire bags, we have two already, but they are out of stock everywhere currently. They are expecting more in apparently and will let me know when they have more stock.

The Alorva document wallet is designed by firefighters which is probably the highest recommendation it could have, hence my purchase. In my view, it should be easier to find when you type in fireproof wallets on Amazon, I only found it by accident amidst so many other products. It is light, tough, well made and unlike most other products that I've seen has a bright stripe to enable easier recovery after the worst has happened. I looked at similar sized fireproof cases but they are extremely heavy due to their lead content. They can offer better protection to higher temperatures over longer periods but, for me, there are two big disadvantages. First, shifting a 15-30 kg case around creates risk of unintended back injury no matter how young and fit one might be. Second, too many have learned down the years and to their cost, that lead is seriously damaging to life. The best prevention advice is to remove lead containing products from the home. Some countries have regulations to alert people to lead containing products e.g. California's Proposition 65 warning and you will see this stated against some of these products if you hunt down the small print. They are probably terrific products but personally, I decided to avoid them. I hope that Alorva produce some different size products. It would be good to have a slightly smaller one in addition to the external wallet that is ideal for passports. I'd buy two or three of the smaller wallets separately if I could because they would be ideal for storing spare hard-drives. Customer care is superb, these people seem to be genuinely concerned about their customers. I guess that's what firefighters do! I'm not an expert in this field so I cannot make an informed recommendation but after researching the field, ordering and receiving the fireproof wallet, I am pleased with this product. Let's hope we don't have to test it!
