Vs. ADOBE Acrobat
Works well. Much better price than Adobe. Although, has more good stuff.

no software
All I ever received was an activation key. But with no software to activate it didn't seem to be money well spent. It would have been nice to actually receive the software.

A good reader, but no OCR
The lifetime license does not include optical character recognition. It has some basic functionality, but not enough to pay for compared to free alternatives, at least for me.

This purchase was redeemed by good customer service
FIRST, CUSTOMER SERVICE: I purchased and installed the product without issue, however, I opened two of my existing PDFs and both times the software froze. After some unsuccessful troubleshooting, I tried reach Mobisystems support through email, phone and their website but got no response. Just as I was getting to the point of returning the product, the company contacted me by email, helped to resolve the problem (at least for now) and offered a refund for the trouble. This is how good customer service is done and I much appreciate it. They were also very responsive to some questions I posted on Amazon; again, good customer service. SECOND, THE PRODUCT: After Adobe went to its ridiculously-priced Acrobat subscription, I had been looking for an alternative. I tried PDF Architect, but the look and feel is a bucket-o-yuck. I bought another product on eBay and it turned out to be a scam...sheesh! When I saw PDF Extra 2020 on Amazon, I was excited to try it. The look and feel are excellent, the functionality is pretty comprehensive, especially for home use, and it is a one-time purchase-- instead of a lifetime of servitude to Adobe. This could just be the Adobe alternative we all have been looking for...

Great Less Expensive Program for Basic Use
This program is a great cheaper alternative to some of the other expensive programs. I don't feel "hostage" to an expensive PDF program of which I'm not utilizing 90% of the applications available.

Not Acrobat-Maybe a better alternative for some
Honestly I wasn’t expecting much but I was surprised. Right off the bat, this isn’t Acrobat!! But it does have a similar functionality and the set of included tools is more than enough for most users. IMHO. Easy to use and compatible with some programs. Quality and updates will tell. Overall a very nice change in price from the Mainstream programs.
