I’ve traditionally used tampons and pads my entire life. I am a 24 year old female from the city and I always cringed around the time of my period like anyone who gets intense periods. Diaper butts? Embarrassing! Tampons? A pain to carry with you on a long night out and I have only newly opted for this method in the past few years and sometimes I am just too worn out or sensitive to re-insert another tampon, so I continue to bring panty liners and a pad with me on heavier days. I have even tried organic brands and felt the same and have had similar worries of keeping it in too long or it getting “stuck” up there or any cotton remainder. You understand!I URGE e anyone looking for a different option to TRY A PERIOD CUP!! Particularly this brand is SO COMFORTABLE!! I am SHOCKED!!!I was apprehensive about it at first…how do I insert this thing in!? And thankfully the packaging besides being cute came with plenty of instructions!For background, I am petite (5”0, 110 lbs) and I was debating on the XS or S…I opted for the most common - Small - and glad I did!!I am currently on day 3 of the dreaded 7-day long cycle and it was one of the quickest and CLEANEST applications. Best switch of my life! I slept comfortably with NO worries…why you might ask? NO leakage, NO discomfort and NO embarrassing crumpling or insecurity as I lie down with my significant other!Typically a tampon can be utilized the same way, yes, but the Hello Cup lasts for 12 hours! It protected me for the length of time a pad would but is just as effective and seamless as a tampon! AMAZING for anyone sensitive and has trouble picking the right material and brand! No longer do we have to skim through Walgreens…this came VERY quick also! I had assumed it would’ve taken 3-4 days as listed but it came in the perfect 2-day time frame!I also really favor the punch fold technique — it’s really so easy! TMI but the tampon string was always very irritating to conceal as I am sure many have their creative manners on how they deal with it. But the hello cup is really easy to remove too, simply squatting down just a tad and comes out with ease! I know the material and the thickness can seem jarring but once it’s in there it doesn’t move, shift, or feel like it’ll “fall out”! I have never felt such security in my LIFE and I honestly am having one of the best periods this week — crazy to say! I favor that it’ll alleviate any embarrassment I could get if the string is just slightly hanging out, especially if I’m cozied up with my partner in bed! He had zero idea and do I dare say it is also a mood booster!I cannot rave about this product enough! I will continue to purchase the Small size and maybe will try out the Starter Pack as I debated with that option also….it also comes with a great cute bag to travel with! Sterilization process is also listed within the packagingI really can’t wait to see what else this brand has in store. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!!!

I was daunted by the cup process. I wanted to switch, but I have an IUD. I talked to my OBGYN and she gave me the green light with the instruction to check the strings periodically and make sure to release the suction of the cup first before attempting removal, and also to be very careful and go slow removing so you don't accidently grab the strings with the bottom of the cup. So, I embarked on my quest to find the perfect cup! I am very active and do heavy weight training as well as calisthenics, so I needed something that would not leak or become loose. I had tried the Nixit disc (not a cup, but a disc) and it took me a while to realize that it was WAY too big. It would dislodge at the slightest strain and leak. It was also uncomfortable since it was too large. I took a quiz on period nirvana and this cup was recommended to me. I decided to give it a go. I was nervous, but ready. I am on my second cycle with this and I am SO happy! Never experienced a leak even once. Removal is not terrible. I have to take some time and go slow, but if you break the seal and gently remove you'll be just fine. Their instructions in the booklet that comes with it are helpful too. This thing has withstood heavy workouts with weights and calisthenics. Never had an issue with leaks or it popping out etc. Such a game changer! I cannot recommend it more. I didn't find this cup to be too hard or the stem to be an issue either. I have an average height cervix and strong pelvic floor. It's so comfortable, I don't feel it at all! The best part is you just set it and forget for 8-12 hours. I love that about it. Highly recommend!

This cup works fine. Probably most leak proof of all that I tried.The one thing is that it also did this other thing that I had never experience before with any other cup. I think the way that it had been inserted and then also because it was such a rigid material.I went to pee shortly after inserting it for one of the first few times and I felt a horrible painful sensation when I tried to pee with it in, like UTI times ten, and I had no idea why but my first instict was to take the cup out because I didn't want any foreign objects ib the area. My pee came blasting out like I had broken down the walls of a damn and everything stopped hurting.That was one of the only times a cup has fully blocked my urinary tract. I still tried to use it afterwards while just being cautious about how it was inserted and it never quite happened like that again but there were a few other times where I could sense some slight intereferance.

If you don't like firm cups, then you probably won't like this. I love it though, all I've ever used are firm cups and I've found that the firmer they are the better they work for me. This cup pops open very easily and was easy to insert even though I'm not used to the punchdown fold, as every other cup I've used has recommended the C-fold. I highly recommend this cup if you're an experienced cup user and are looking for something a little different.

I've tried cups before, but didn't realize that what I needed was a smaller size. Does the job and I can be active! Plus not using tampons makes my period end so much faster.

My first cup was the SAALT cup which is uncomfortable. I decided to try this one based on the reviews. Everyone says it’s too hard but I’m having the opposite problem. It’s not firm enough and not popping open. I’ve tried several times. So sad too because it’s extremely comfortable. Maybe it’s just a learning curve ☹️

I love this cups, they are perfect for low cervix, the stem is so different to other cups, you won't feel it at all if you choose the right size.
