These work wonderful. I had a set years ago but changed my decor and bought a different color from another brand. Big mistake. The cheaper set chipped and stained. I wasted my money. I should have stuck with this brand. Great quality. Btw, I still have my first set from over 10 years ago with no chips.

I have used Thirstystone coasters for the past 12 years. I love them because they don't stick to the bottom of glasses when people pick them up! Sure, they don't absorb ALL the liquid but it is easily wiped up and it rarely gets to the table. The problem with the old pattern I had was that I had two boxes of them and the second box was a slightly different shade than the first. This always irritated me. This time I bought one box of this pattern, liked it, and sent for two more boxes. They are all totally uniform, and I love them. The colors are quite subtle blue/gray/beige and go very well with my dark gray glass table and gray and blue decor. The pattern is matte, printed on the top and looks very natural. I plan on them lasting forever.

I love the look and feel of these coasters. I keep a huge cup on my desk at work and the sweat from the cup makes a huge mess. I fill my cup with ice and then dispense coffee into it and drink my ice coffee throughout the day. I bought these coasters specifically to soak up the condensation that drools down the cup and puddles on my desk. I've been using these for about two weeks now and I've been completely satisfied until yesterday. I guess I was thirsty yesterday, because I refilled my cup two more times. Evidently three cups caused too much condensation and I saturated the coaster. I had to dump out my drink and take the coaster to the kitchen to dry off the soaking stone and the cork base. Lesson learned.

Only Thirsty Stone will do! They are beautifully crafted and look stunning in my living room.

These do what I want, absorb the water condensation from our glasses

The colors are not as vivid as in the advertised picture, and they are mostly blue and grey. That's all I really saw when I looked at them in person. I thought it would go with everything, but it really just has those 2 colors. The return process for these is not that simple, so you need to be sure. They do absorb all the moisture over a period of time. Initially, the water will pool on top, so it is not immediate absorption. Definitely not a microwave process. These coasters are very well made and of very high quality. The cork backing is very thick and so are the coasters.
