I have a number of watches that needed new batteries, and this set did a wonderful job overall helping me to get them working again. The magnifying lens was especially helpful to see the tiny writing on batteries to confirm which type was needed and purchase those separately here on Amazon. The small tweezers also worked great to help gently lift out the old batteries, some of which are a really tight fit and hesitant to come out. Popping off the back case to expose the battery takes some practice, but not bad once you get the hang of it. One of mine had tiny screws holding down the back case, and the set had a perfectly-sized screwdriver to handle that as well.My only caution is to be very gentle and careful when using the press that replaces the watch case - I cracked the glass on one of my favorite watches. I had already used the press to successfully close about 6 other watches, and thought I was following the same procedure and instructions, so I am not sure what went wrong. It is possible that I did something like applying a bit too much pressure, since I was brand-new to using that type of press, but it was the saddest sound and feeling to see it had cracked. Overall I still recommend this set for the variety of tools at a good price, but with that caution in mind.

I am now at the point in my watch journey where I'm ready to at least start with the basics of tinkering with my growing watch collection. Going over the various different watch repair kits Amazon offers, I've noticed that although they all seem similar and seem to offer most of the same things, it's like one has something that the other misses and vice versa. I've found this one to be the best value for money compared to the rest. Only thing that it is missing is a set of hand removers, I'm not at that point just yet. With this kit, it was very easy to remove links and size my bracelets. The springbar tool was easy to use and allowed for springbar removal so I can install NATO or rubber straps. Very satisfied so far. Planning on changing out some mineral crystals with Sapphire.

So, if all you are doing is adjusting bands or changing out watch batteries, you really don't need this kit. You can really do all that with Youtube and normal stuff around the house. The only thing this is helpful for, is putting the watchback back on to the front. The tool for that is awesome, puts even pressure to have less stress on the watch. The rest is cool, but over kill - get the cheaper kits with less. But what disappointed me most, as I bought this kit specifically because it was suppose to have instruction manual - it is as basic as you can get, really just tells you what the tools do, but not how to fix your watch!

I appreciate how many tools they packed into this case! The downside for me was there was no press for a square-faced watch! I own several rectangular/square faced watches, and they would be well suited to include such a press, maybe substituting or offering as an option? Tools overall were sturdy and well finished, and the illustrated instruction/guide book was a nice addition. The press does have many size options, so you should have no trouble repairing your round-faced watches using this kit!

I purchased this kit because my daughter previously worked in the jewelry industry and I had several watches and other items that required these types of button batteries. If you know exactly how all the tools work, it is a great set and we have fixed most items with it. However, the directions are marginal at best. I recommend the kit; I recommend that the directions be reworked to be more helpful to those who do not know what all the tools are for.

This kit actually far exceeded my expectations. The press and tool kit worked great. Got my new crystal popped out easily and the new one back in. Very happy with my purchase.An update, I need to pop the bezel insert out of my seiko watch. The press actually worked great on that too. VERY HAPPY with this purchase.

I purchased this kit to put a battery in my watch when I went to install the back of the watch the tool wouldn’t do it I finally had to pay someone to install the back on my watch I will do more research on my next purchase

I have used the product to replace the battery of three watches. All the parts are essential and save a lot of time and money to perform things like this. I am happy to get all the parts in a single order. I didn't find issues with any of the parts of the complete product.
