This is absolutely amazing for me to do my podcast. The quality is absolutely awesome.

I'm not very familiar with high quality mics but this one works well for my purpose. I just wanted something to game with that doesn't attach to my headset. The arm has lots of range of motion and holds firm. Sound quality is great. I heard the pop filter is useless so I didn't bother with that. Happy with my purchase.

I am new to podcast equipment and reviewed multiple microphones for weeks for many different price points. I ended up getting this one and I couldn’t be happier. It was so easy to set up and use. The price was reasonable and had everything I needed and then some.My first recording my dog was in the room barking and running around. The recording had Zero background noise but my audio was on point. Beyond my expectations. I’ve heard many professional podcasters with less quality.

This mic + stand has been part of my setup for 2 years now and while it's been good, it hasn't been great. If I had done a review one month in I would have given it 5 stars, but after some time I began to notice same bad things about the product.Pros:-All inclusive kit: I use the stand + microphone in my setup and it is no hassle at all-Quality: I receive compliments to how I sound and have others ask me what I use and I do recommend this product to them :)Cons:-Useless pop filter: this cheap pop filter isn't worth using as it provides no change in audio quality and adds an extra inconvenience to your setup.-The on/off button DOES NOT turn off the microphone: when it's "turned off" it lowers the signal to the mic so IT STILL TRANSMITS AUDIO. While in discord, sometimes if I have to mute quickly I flick the switch to off, but everyone can still hear you from the microphone, it'll just be noticeably quieter.-Cable issues: From time to time, about weekly now my microphone will begin to cut out every few syllables. This is fixed by unplugging and re plugging the microphone. Inconvenient.Overall, I still very much recommend this product. No product is without flaws and even when considering the useless pop filter and faulty off button, the microphone + stand value for the price is one of the best out there. This is a great beginner setup that can be upgraded over time.

The mic itself is very good and feels really high end. I went with this instead of anything that was "gamer" branded and I am happy with the decision. Have been using it for a few years and still looks and performs like brand new. The only thing I did not like is the boom arm, the base is plastic and after a while it becomes very loose and moves freely, does not feel like as secure and is flimsy.

There is a reason every list of budget microphones has this at the top, it's just flawless. The sound quality is top notch, and build quality is spot on. It has the classic microphone shape, which makes it work in your hand, on a stand, or on your desk. With USB and XLR output it allows you to connect to your PC right away, or upgrade your setup with a mixer later using the XLR output.This package includes a stand, pop filter, and suspension system for the mic. For the money, they're nice. I will say the springs on the stand do make a little noise if you move it abruptly, so it'd keep it still while recording, but it's sturdy, and has a wide range of movement. The pop filter I've found isn't needed as the Samson Q2U includes a foam cover that works pretty well. It's nice the pop filter is included though.
