Visual Link Spanish Level 2 Verb Course [Windows Only][CD-ROM]

Beware... this company offers very little in the way of support. I purchased Levels 1, 2, 3, and Spanish Conversation. My most recent purchase was a year ago. Since that time, the company has updated the software and changed the software installation keys. As a result, all software purchased before the update is in the company's eyes invalid and they will refuse requests for new keys telling you that you must re-purchase the software. If you never have to reinstall the software, you should be fine, but if you purchase a new computer (as I did) and then try to reinstall your software, your installation key will fail. This is, in my estimation, a very dishonest practice. Be aware that this company, will refuse to re-validate your software. I suspect they will update frequently.

Great for homeschool! Can easily be completed in 1/2 yr or less. Fun review games and quizzes. Appreciated the scoring system. Disappointed that I could not print scores (needed for portfolio). Any quiz can be retaken to improve scores. Works best with with spanish level 1.

Visual Link Spanish is a good instructional software product at a fair price. You don't need to overpay for the one you see/hear advertised in magazines/radio and mall kiosks. All that slick marketing is expensive. I'm on level 2 (cost ~$90) which so far is all verb conjugation. Although I like it, it's not as sophisticated, and fun, as level 1 (cost ~$125). Level 1 is vocabulary, basic grammar and sentence construction. Maybe there's just so much clever things you can do with verb conjugating. Level 1 has so much material in it, I'm working through it again, concurrent with Level 2 verbs.

I purchased both the level ll and level lll courses some time ago and wanted to load them on a computer that I travel with. They both have the "old" activation codes and won't load and I can't even play the CD's on the laptop. When I contacted customer service they told me that I had old software and would have to purchase their newest versions if I wanted them to work. What a screw job! Their customer service department must have graduated from Trump University! Nice way to screw your loyal customers, Dave. Buy another course from a company that has a customer service department that's trained in actual customer service. I'm out about 200 bucks because of these meatheads!

Great tool to use for homeschooling. I have reviewed many different Spanish curriculum including Abeka and Bob Jones, but found Visual Link to be the most user friendly and most practical way to learn the Spanish Language. This program does not allow the scores to be printed for a student portfolio; but I simply took a picture of the computer screen and printed it out for my records. I'm not sure why this program won't allow score printing...maybe they will update that. I also have the Visual Link I and Verb Module III. I am starting my 10th year homeschooling 6 children. This curriculum is my Top Pick for Spanish. I have referred many homeschool families to this program and will continue to do so.

The program is fun and keeps me interested. Of course practice and repetition are the keys to everything and this makes it easier.

I purchased the level II course a few years ago and found it to be really invaluable for learning all those tricky verb endings and also as a follow on from the Level I course, which I enjoyed so much. The way in which the lessons are presented is, I think, quite unique and provides plenty of motivation to keep on learning.The lessons are explained really well and there's loads of examples to practice on. All the lessons are cleverley indexed at the side and can be easily accessed if you want to start at a particular lesson. I often just quickly go through these practice sessions now if I need to brush up from time to time. There's nothing else quite like this out there - Great value for money!
