Excellent basic info
I borrowed this watercolor book from the local library before ordering one for myself. The content is basic and everything I need to know as a beginning watercolorist. The almanac is an annual purchase. It’s a classic reference and invaluable to me.

Very Satisfied Consumer
I’m a beginner/intermediate watercolor artist and I’m always looking for books to teach me new things or just inspire me.Consequently, I have many “beginner books. I find that most books cannot seem to hold my attention or the tutorials in them are difficult to follow. However, this book, Watercolor is for Everyone is a gem.I’m finding the tutorials easy to follow and not intimidating. This makes me want to keep going further into the book.Im currently half way through and look forward to continuing.Reading Kateri Ewing can be like wrapping yourself in warm blanket next to fireplace. She asks you to surround your workspace with things that you love, a candle or incense, and to focus on your breathing before you start painting. She also has a passion for glitter paint and each tutorial includes some in some small way that works. This took me by surprise but I do happen to have a set that never gets used and now does.I’m happy with this book and I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.

Simple and beautiful watercolor experiences
I have been "practicing" watercolor for over 30 years, but this book gave me a new way to practice, explore, and celebrate this beautiful medium. The simple short exercises in Kateri Ewing's beautiful book opened the door to a simple, short daily practice that allows me to regularly be in the moment and celebrate the beauty of color and water and movement, all the while learning more about watercolor. I highly recommend it. It is beautiful and a joy to use.

Strictly for little kids or absolute beginners
I think for anyone who has ever spent any time with watercolors before, this book is not going to be satisfying. It is for the beginner or perhaps for someone who is very fearful of the creative process. I did not find it helpful.

A true Watercolor Journey
If you are like me and simply enjoy the dance of watercolor on paper this book will take you on a stress free journey. All of Kateri's projects encourage you to linger for a spell as her words of encouragement guide you along. Like she says, you can be your worst critic, or you can enjoy each painting as you watch the colors mingle and surprise you. I've purchased many books, tried many of the lessons, but the projects in this book are truly inspirational.

wonderful book
I love this artist and was very happy to receive this book. In it Kateri inspires your creativity. Anyone who is drawn to abstract or what they call loose painting will really make the most of her teaching. Anyone who feels the need to loosen up their own painting style will enjoy it very much as well. Anyone who may wish to establish or deepen a connection to the spiritual world will enjoy the book as well.

THIS BOOK SAVED ME FROM GIVING UP
I have never been able to produce a piece of watercolour art that didn’t look like it was done by a 2 year old. I was always so disappointed in my lack of artistic ability until I bought this book. The author gives you daily lessons on how to PLAY with paints and not expect anything other than sometimes having a feeling of joy when your paints do something unexpected. I highly recommend it to anyone who lacks confidence or who has run out of creative ideas. It has changed my attitude to watercolour painting.

This one is by far the most beautiful and inspiring one I’ve ever seen! You’ll think I’m being silly, but I feel like saying, ‘make a note of my name’, because one day I’m going to be a famous watercolour artist, and I’ll have this book to thank!
