One of the Wonders of the World, in my opinion.
I own two Dewalt miter saws, I ordered one of these stands for one of my saws after reading reviews on Amazon. This day I received this stand and checked it out, I immediately ordered another one for my other saw. This is brilliantly designed as a sturdy self contained unit that meets all your needs as a miter saw stand. It sets up or takes down in seconds. It is easy to level the extensions. I did bolt on wood blocks to raise the saw table to the same level as the rollers and extensions. This is easy to transport, and I've not remvoved the saws at all except once when I used one the stands for stand for my large tile saw. It fit perfectly, just didn't need the extensions. We cut 16' trim pieces with this stand all the time with no problems with either end. It is strong and so far very durable. Just the ease of getting set up so fast with such a useful product helps pay for it in a hurry. You don't have to carry any extra parts along as you take this to the work site, it's all together. It takes up little space considering the job it does, and is even attractive (not that that is necessary). I've researched all the stands, and this is an amazing unit. I do like to have the best, and I believe the Trojan is the best available.

Owner
The Trojan MS-2000 has to be the best miter saw stand on the market. It's very easy to set up and take down, even with a 12" compound saw. Your not stationary on the job site, you can roll your saw to any location easily. The old four legged stand that I had before was difficult to get in and out of the truck and set up. Since purchasing the Trojan MS-2000 even the homeowners that I work for have commented that this is quite the tool. Wish I had bought it years ago.

excellent, but not perfect
I have had the Trojan Miter Saw Stand for about three years. I have found it to be very good for some tasks and a little weak for others. If all your going to use it for is interior trim carpentry, You have found your tool. Door casings, Crown, Baseboards, Chair rail, the Trojan handles them with ease. If you need to mount your big 12 in. slider and cut exterior fascia boards, Redwood decking, or anything 2x in long lengths, you should look for something a little more stout. It is the wings that get weaker the further you extend them. If you use a separate roller stand beyond the wings your problems are solved, but then you have to carry another tool. Everything else about the Trojan is golden. Bolt the saw to it, adjust the table height(once), unfold the wings, and cut your trim. It folds up compact and easily, and rolls like a hand truck back to the truck. How cool is that. The Trojan is extremely well made and has the best design I have found. If you need something stouter, the trade off is portability. It's all about what your willing to give up. Hope This Helps, Derek

Bad customer service
So, I liked the stand for the first 5 months then it just started falling apart. First the rollers started coming out because the 1/4 rod just slides around inside of the rollers. You have to weld it in place. Then later the legs tore off. Had to weld them. Yesterday I went to tip it up to colapse it and the rivits pulled out. (The hinges) My saw flipped over and landed up side down. Now I am a trim carpenter. I use it everyday. So If your a home owner useing it to buid model air planes you will be fine. Not for the contractor for shure. But maybe you could order a welder from Amazon to fix your new saw. It will list comen things bought when you bought this product. The welder will show up. So to top my disapointment. I called Trogen. This guy didnt want anything to do with me. He sells a product and wont stand behind his product. He tells me he only make 20 dollars off these stands. He said I would have to ship mine back 80 dollars and he would fix it. Im out 80 bucks for his bad product. Or he would sell me one for 292.00 so I would save 7 dollars and loose out my 80 dollars. Then tells me list price is 439.00 . Righ t I could buy 2 for that from Amazon. So I gues Ill Just keep welding or buy someone elses product. Not happy with this at all.

nasty pinches and blood blisters
nasty pinches and blood blisters from set up and transport. Very poor packaging, arrived damaged and no number to call. Suggest makers further refine. Does however have advantages including larger wheels compared to other make. Lots of adjustements possible.

Poor manufacturing
I ordered 4, the first was fully assembled, but the remaining three were poorly manufactured, the axles were to large a diameter to fit through their wheel bearing diameter, pop riveted parts were not in the box, or installed, plastic end caps necessary for proper operation were not even included in the package. Looks like the manufacturer is in disarray, disorganized, or going through some piss poor transitions.

Take it from someone with experience!
I have been a carpenter for a long time now. I have spent over a month studing and asking other carpenters what stand they liked the most. Unfortunately none of them had seen or heard of the MS-2000. I found it here at tool crib and knew just from looking at it that it was what i wanted. I also went to the Trojan website to study it some more. When I bought it was excited, but when it arrived I was extemely impressed with the looks and ease of operation. Jeff of Trojan, You did a damn good job with this thing!!! It can hold a lot of weight!. I have had a 200lbs mantel on it and it showed no signs of weakness. I use a 10" slide hitachi on it and it is so easy to get around with. The rollers are great and help with cutting all types of materials. There are so many great things about this stand. Again Jeff, owner of Trojan, my hat is off to you. You have made the most valuable tool to me and to other carpenters. After I showed this stand to other carpenters, I have become the envy of all carpenters that have seen it. The best. No others can come close.

MS -2000 is simple and strong
The Trojan MS 2000 miter saw stand is extremely well made, sturdy, but a little heavy. It is exactly what Trojan says it is. Easy to set up, the only tricky part is installing the plastic stop ends after setting the roller height to the miter saw table. I drilled holes and mounted my miter saw, I guess you could also clamp it down, but mounting with bolts is best. The table is roomy and the stand folds out and then folds up easily. The adjustable stop(an extra) also helps with repetitive cuts. I can roll it anywhere, even up stairs with the 10 inch wheels. It was packed very well, with no room for the stand to knock around in the big box. Unless someone steals it, I will have this thing for a long time!
