Sizes are WAY WAY off. Forget the youth size unless your kid is under 60 pounds and far below 5 feet.
Sizing is beyond ridiculous. The Youth size, 50-90 pounds, can barely be forced onto a skinny elementary student who is under 5 feet tall and weighs 70 pounds. The waist strap was fully extended, and it's a little too small in the length/shoulders. This product Youth size is suitable for a 50 pound kid only, never mind 80 or even 90!If the sizing was appropriate, it looks like a very nicely made but very bulky life jacket.

Does exactly what it's suppose to!
I purchased this lifejacket for my special needs son. He is 12 yrs old, 55lbs and has low muscle tone. I needed a life jacket with more support than traditional ones, but not as much support as the $300 adaptive ones. This Mustang Survival is PEEFECT. We tested it out in the water this weekend and he was able to easily roll himself on his back and float! I did purchase crotch straps separately and attached them to this vest.I'm very pleased with how this vest fits and most importantly performs!

Excellent life preserver for your little tikes
Excellent life preserver for your little tikes. High visibility, helps ensure head stays up and fits well.Just a note, the Youth size apparently does not have the crotch strap.

Very comfortable
Very comfortable for my 6yo. Added safety for on the boat to give peace of mind.

How well can your kid swim?
Safest and best quality jacket on the market. Bulkier than others, but works a lot better, and the material's not uncomfortable for kids.

Excellent, includes headrest
Fits great, daughter loves it. Wish it had a crotch strap. I love that it has the headrest though, hard to find in this size.
