Awesome sub!
Sounds tight and you can really feel it too. It looks like it's well built and mine is the 3000 watt version. Very nice product and will be buying another. I read some YT reviews that it doesn't have enough power, but mine packs a real punch. With the 3000 watt version they may have fixed some issues, but so far I'm really happy with the purchase. I hope this helps!

Perfect for a sound system!!
The media could not be loaded. This subwoofer is a perfect addition to any sound system. It throws out the bass nice. I have my system running from my little sunbuck amp (that I use as a preamp) to the subwoofer, then to the Harman Kardon receiver.I use the Sunbuck amp for my Bluetooth receiver and also use the equalizer on it. Also I use the Sunbuck amp to plug in my bass guitar to practice. The subwoofer I have crossed over at 100hz. Alot might crossover at 80hz. I just think it sounds a lot better at 100hz due to the high pass crossover starts at 100hz that goes to my Harman Kardon to push my loudspeakers. In my loudspeakers I changed out the woofers for a pair of Blast King 12".Overall I am very pleased with this subwoofer. It does not get hot on the back plate even after playing for a couple hours straight. There is no rattle in my backplate like others have said they had in there's. Mine came in as a 3000 watt P.M.P.O. not the 2000, so that was a plus. I would say this amp is perfect for whole house filling sound.Only cons about this is the constant smell of fish from amp. Not sure if that is going to go away. Also how others have complained, the power switch feels light. So fix was hooking up to a surge protector and just use that for the power.UPDATE: I changed out the subwoofer with a Skar 18" EVL dual 2 ohm. Then I changed out the power supply on this to a 600 watt rms one. This really pounds now. For those who just wish to change out the subwoofer, it is 4ohms.

PRODUCT WAS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS BETTER
Speaker definitely has bass don't expect 2 15s in your trunk loud, you feel it and it does shake my entire house, it's in my bedroom in the basement and it shakes the upstairs dishes across the house in the cabinet. 2 story 5 bedroom house. Great sub.

I tried it for the price, but it just wasn't something I could use.
From a low-end perspective this sub was a shocker. I have another 18 inch sub by an old manufacturer that does ok, but not great. This one hit the lows very strong, to the point of it being odd for the price. Not 20's but somewhere around mid 30's to low 40's. The issue comes into play as you head up toward the crossover point. I didn't whip out any mics or meters, so I'm guessing, but it seems like 65hz is when it starts to fall apart, and then becomes an audible mess at around 80 or 90. Unfortunately I don't have tops that could make up the difference. So for supplemental low end bass these are for you. But to run them with some tops on a pole make sure you have tops that can run down to 65-70hz without blowing. I mean these are certainly not "8004's", but to get a young DJ on a budget started with small venue/back yard gigs these will get you by. ...and at this price point that's what I would say these are intended to do.But I have to say, if Proreck puts another $100 behind their woofer cost and adds it to the price, they would create some tears in the JBL boardroom. I'd certainly think hard about ordering 2 or 4 of them.
