You have to do a little work to make it useable on a longbow and it stretches a lot
I purchased this for a 71" longbow. The string length purchased was 68", which is the size of the string it was replacing and also what is sold by the manufacture of the bow as a replacement string. Note that the original string is a flemish twist and this is a continuous loop. As noted by others in their reviews the loops are too big, measuring 3". I used serving thread to over the existing end servings to reduce the size of the loops. This seems to have solved the loop problem. The center serve section is 6", which is about average but still smaller than prefer. I did not make any changes to this other than creating a string noc point. I gave the string about 6 twists and mounted it on the bow. The bow brace height should be a minimum of 6". However, measuring it showed it to be less than 3". It took about 80 twists to get to 6" and was stretched back out within 1/2 hours. I repeated this cycle a few times and was able to use it after around 115 total twits. The arrow flight seems more consistent, and a little faster, but I haven't measured it. Hopefully this will be the extent of the majority of the stretching exercise.

Thick, strong, and noisy
This bowstring has twelve strands. They aren't like the strands in other bowstrings--they are twisted strings, similar to but smaller in diameter than the strings inside parachute cord. The bowstring seems likely to be much stronger than a conventional 12-strand string, but it is also thicker, so nocks fit very tightly. The string is noisier than the string it replaced, and after a shot it vibrates like a guitar string. The loops are about 4" long (6" interior circumference) which is good for my Turkish horsebow. The string is not horrible and I will use it until I can find a better one with more conventional construction.

Loops are ridiculously large
I have several 58" and 56" The brace height using the 56 inch strings is too large and using 58" strings the brace height too small. So a 57" string would correct that so I ordered one from this vendor. The problem is that the loops on both ends are so large that when I strung the bow, the oversized loops stretched out to 58". The worst string I've ever seen and I cannot use it.

I probably should have checked where this was coming from ...
I probably should have checked where this was coming from before I ordered it. It obviously came by boat from China. It took a number of weeks to show up. The quality seems decent, but I use the bow mostly for target practice and it does the job. Haven't had any issues yet, but I will report back after next summer when we have had more of a chance to use it.

Worked as expected
I bought this after finding an old recurve bow in Grandpa's basement. This string fit well and we had a fun time shooting arrows around the yard. We did not hunt or anything to give a review on that but it worked for what we wanted it to.

Loops way to big
I should have read the reviews. The loops on this string are terrible. They are so large it is impossible for me to even string my bow. Very disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would.

It’s a Bowstring Made In China
Package was packed well for shipping, and shipped promptly. 2-day turnaround during Christmas week - AWESOME! It included the string, and instructions in several languages. Low price - great service - I will buy again.

Works pretty well.
Everything was great. Slight shipping but that wasn't the sellers problem. I recommend also picking up some string wax with this string. It seems good quality but with regular waxing, it should help prolong the life of this string. I highly recommend this string if you are on a budget.
