TACwolf 3pc Extension Fits Glock Model 42 (.380 Cal) G42

Simple, easy to install (with a magazine tool) and is a huge upgrade. It's amazing such a small extension can impact handling and stability this much for those with medium-sized hands using a small G42. The looks are also spot on; perfectly matches stock grips. Strongly recommended, even if you have small hands.

This grip extension for the stock G42 magazine fits and works very well. The appearance matches the G42 grip so does not seem out-of-place. Color is very slightly different but this is only obvious with a photograph under daylight. Installation was not too onerous but there's a trick. I'd recommed using a vise to clamp the magazine down. Face the front of the magazine away from you. Use a 3/32" punch to press the magazine insert down just below the floorplate. (If you press too hard on the insert, it very likely will become unseated. Not a big deal but you'll need to remove the magazine spring to retrieve). With the insert depressed, tap the floorplate with a padded mallet until it loosens. It may take a couple energetic taps. Once the floorplate is released slightly (not fully removed), slide it forward while covering the insert with your thumb to prevent it flying out. Replace the factory floorplate with the replacement. Tap it back into place with the mallet until the insert button pops into place. If you had previously unseated the insert, remove the spring and fish out the insert and put back in place. The insert rides right on top of the spring when assembled (well, technically on the bottom of the spring when in use). If you don't have a vise grip this process is a little aggravating but certainly possible. One method is to place the magazine on the edge of a table, use one hand to steady magazine and depress the magazine insert follower, then tap off the floorplate with a padded mallet. Then replace as in the above. Once installed, this looks and works perfectly. It has just enough room for me to fit my entire hand. The fit is very secure, no wobble or extra play, and no feed issues. Keep in mind that this does not add any extra capacity. You'll still have 6 rounds but IMHO, the G42 without this extension is useless for me. I'm very pleased with this product and will buy again.

Absolute perfect fit for G42 magazines. Price is an unmatched point as well. Creates that perfect feel for the pinky finger for great control.

Worked great

Overall, great product for the money. Fit well, although they are slightly different in cut to the original Glock grips. Look and feel nice, but are a pain to install. Not the company’s fault, this is on Glock. Again, overall great value!

Had a Glock armor install these because I didn’t have the magazine tool to remove the original plate. Installed nicely and seem to fit fine. I was cautioned to get some rounds through this to get the spring use to the new plates.

This pinky extension is great. The installation of it was a little difficult. To pull off the stock end had to use a screw driver to push the button in and push the screw driver away from you to slide the stock peice off the magazines over the two tabs. Once it was off it was easy to install the pinky extension on the magazines.
