Perfect for a left handed child who needs help with closure.

These are expensive but worth it. I have taught kindergarten for 34 years and not all but some of my lefties, over the years, have a harder time cutting. These scissors add the help of bouncing back for kids for whom thw “opening and closing” of cutting is too much. They boost confidence in reluctant and unconfident leftie cutters. I have a few pairs of these in my classroom and they have held up for several years. Definitely recommend.

I purchased these for my special needs 6yo, she used them once before the "spring arm" broke right off. She was not so rough/tough on them that this should have happened and was using them as designed. Despite the brand having a lifetime warranty they can't/won't replace. These aren't worth the buy,.

These aren’t left handed scissors. I have watched my son struggle with these scissors for months thinking it was motor skills issues. Until I put them in my left hand and realized the issue. I’m right handed so didn’t see the issue right away. Although I’ve never used left handed scissors I’m pretty sure they aren’t supposed to be angled the same as right handed scissors, essentially making them upside down for left handers. First two images are while holding in my right hand, last two are while holding in my left hand. Last is in comparison to my adult right handed scissors.

Die erste Schere, die unseren Sohn NICHT enttäuscht hat. Sie sieht im ersten Augenblick gewöhnungsbedürftig aus, passt aber perfekt für einen kleinen Linkshänder, der das Schneiden lernen möchte. Die Form passt sich perfekt an die Kinderhand an, so dass das Kind quasi automatisch die richtige Haltung und Technik findet. Für den Anfang ist die eingebaute Spange perfekt. Diese öffnet die Schere quasi automatisch wieder, was eine gute Hilfestellung für das Kind ist. Es lernt den Bewegungsablauf des Schließens und Öffnens und somit die notwendigen Bewegungen für die Schnitte quasi automatisch. Unser Kind war vor diesem Kauf nahezu verzweifelt und unwillig weiter zu üben, weil er durch die falsche Ergonomie der alten Schere nie die richtige Scherenhaltung hinbekommen hat und deswegen nicht schneiden konnte.
