Ah, the dread that comes with realizing your sleeping angel has leaked through their diaper and into their crib mattress in the middle of the night when you pick them up for what was supposed to be a quick feed, change, and back to dreamland before their eyes even opened. While this pad doesn't keep these leaks from happening, it DOES make the process a little easier. + It does stop urine from soaking into your crib pad/mattress + no obnoxiously loud crinkly noises + Lays flat under a sheet, but doesn't require the time to pull it around the mattress pad LIKE a fitted sheet. I like that I just lay it down/pick it up without fumbling around in the dark one-handed while trying to shush the baby back to sleep. The reason I'm knocking a star: you CAN wash this pad, but when if you choose to dry it, make sure to either dry it with white towels only because it will pill and shed all over whatever else is in your dryer. I use this on a pack-n-play mattress pad and it is the perfect size.

We use these under the sheets for my three year old and it works amazing! Protects the mattress, doesn’t leak through, and easy to thrown in the wash. Much easier than washing a mattress cover every time there’s an accident haha

We purchased this item for use under a Graco Pack 'n Play sheet in a Pack 'n Play. Because of our small apartment we opted to use a Pack 'n Play instead of a crib because it is more mobile. We have used this item, so far, for two months and will continue to use it. It is very effective in repelling liquids. No liquid leaks through the pad, although because the pad is repellent and not absorbent, there is the issue of the liquid rolling off the pad. This pad seems to have a soft flannel-like outer layer on both sides with a waterproof layer in the middle. This is not the case. While the outer layer is softer, it really is just a light coating on an otherwise stiff, course pad. It has little to no absorbency. As far as use with the Grace Pack n' Play, it is not the right size. It is slightly shorter and wider than the Pack 'n Play. This is only a difficulty when used in tandem with the Pack 'n Play sheet. Because of the size difference, it is hard to get the pad to lay straight under the sheet. We have washed this pad several times. We only line dry it. It seems to show more wear than other baby items we have purchased, specifically in the fact that it attracts and holds on to lint. It does dry quickly due to its water repellent nature. It is made from a stiffer material and while it does fold, it doesn't do it well or into a smaller shape.

I love it! It's a flat pad so it needs an elasticated sheet on top if you're using it for a bassinet/stroller/pad etc etc but that's fine with me. It's excellent value and actually makes my bassinet mattress feel a little firmer which I prefer.
